for me it would be difficult for DeepOnion to touch the ATH again.
I think only a few altcoins can touch ATH again like ETH and NEO, but for DEepOnion don't expect too much because there are many coins that have better potential.

speaking about ATH, It still has a probability to reach its ATH again. Why? because the team got a lot of money from their users and until now I have yet to see them making any movement. That means they are 'preparing' for something.

For all of you, what I like about DeepOnion is they are working and trying to upgrade the coin as a secure and usable coin. I like their DeepVault which can really be a good solution to the copy/paste issue.

It might not hit the ATH again but it doesn't mean it won't correct in the near future to a more accurate "fair" market value.

You need to understand that most coins at the high were inflated in prices due to a bubble, and it was not possible to withstand, same with ETH and BTC. They basically rise way too fast and also crashed just as fast.

If the dev team is still active then its value should increase, which is what your aim should be for. However I don't think too many small/medium type cap coins will ever reach ATH again. You need to be realistic.

Well you could not just invest something based on your feelings. Id rather check updates on the team's work and how it could affect their coin status. Investors also will be talking more about the project and less likely it will be one of they for you to understand things for that coin and how it could go ATH again. But, if you are not pretty sure then since you have profited already in that crypto then I guess it is also good to start over again looking for a good coin.

They have activity. This is significantly lower than a year ago, but they hold on. Yes, most likely, they are waiting for a new bull. But it will be very difficult to reach the previous ATH, since there were quite a few buyers in the highs area who would want to sell at their prices.

from July until the end of the year there is 6 months which means you were bag holding something that continued losing value for over 6 months! you can not call that "not being in loss". you should have sold a long time ago and if you really thought this coin has a future then you could have bought back at the bottom and have even more DeepOnion coins in your wallet!!!

I've never really liked Deep Onion, it always felt like a bit of a cult to me with a lot of die-hard fans.
I have to say I don't have any opinion on the technical merits of the coin, just that anything that has that level of hype I tend to be very wary of.

The golden question asked for every alt in existence. But I wouldn't put my hopes up for these types of low-usage coin. I mean sure, for Bitcoin, for Ether, even for Dash or Monero if you're talking about privacy coins, they will surely return to ATH or even break new levels, it's just a matter of time. But for the rest that can never get community usage or merchant network, I wouldn't expect it in a few years. Even Ripple critics are saying it may never hit ATH again and we're talking about a centralized coin that does its best to pump prices and this was only a $3 ATH, much less a coin that had $17!

Of course it won't hit ATH. Good privacy coins like Monero, Grin and Beam will take over the entire niche, even Bitcoin Cash is adding privacy.
Instead, we have DeepOnion which was airdropped to bounty hunters who are notorious for dumping immediately.
Sure, if they've dumped everything maybe it's safe to accumulate and pump+dump for some whales, but the project's fundamentals are broken and an ATH seems a bit excessive.

I said the ATH was $17. In recent bearish market, I have bought more than $6k and I'm holding a total of 10k+ coins. The avg price for me now is $2.10 while the current price is $0.22, reaching at $2.10 is possible if there is a bullrun occured.
