For me, the most epic trolls on this website have to be the following ones:

r0ach: Of course, the official goldbug. For some reason he dumped his bitcoins at a very bad moment and went all in on gold, and now he shills it all day while saying Bitcoin is dead, maybe it's Peter Shift's alt?

proudhon: A massive permabear, always predicting the end of Bitcoin and incoming low prices since 2011, not that active anymore but hilarious to read his post history.

kwukduck: What can be said about kwukduck that hasn't been said before? A permabear, the successor of proudhon, some claim it's an alt, also pretty funny.

There's a ton of similar alts and im probably forgetting some worth mentioning members.

i remember MatTheCat was a classic permabear back in 2014-15. he started the karhu meme on this forum. i can't remember if he ever turned bullish. it's too bad, it looks like his account got hacked at some point.

the moderator, blitz (now nekrobios) was pretty permabear too. he wasn't a troll though. i actually miss his commentary. he disappeared after calling the top at $3k in 2017.....

what happened to this user anyways? i actually miss him. he was very active in 2017 specially pre-SegWit with his FUD and then with every correction on the way up, and i was expecting him to come back in 2018 since the drops began but he never did.
did he lose a ton of money going against the market that he gave up? or did he buy a lot of bitcoin while encouraging others to sell that he made a ton of profit that he went away?

Haha. Where is kwukduck, Bitcointalk's own early buy signal indicator? His timing was near-perfect on 2017, on route to the ATH, as long as you do the opposite of what he says.

I have seen a cryptokwuk who acts like kwukduck, but I believe it's not him.

Maybe I'm not too active here, but I've not heard of the above troll.  I shall have to browse his posts for my amusement late into the night, perhaps giggling at some naked insanity.

Have read kwuckduck's posts and I would swear he is a bot that gets activated only when the bitcoin price curve hits a certain value.  Surprising to me how insistent the duck is that bitcoin is doomed only when it's rising, and I really wonder if he owns any BTC.

With R0ach the problem is that he sings beautifully but the lyrics are like those written by a child with an extreme case of OCD and perhaps other psychiatric diagnoses.  In other words, he eloquently expresses nonsensical ideas and has priapism when it comes to gold.

There's an user named "Butterscotch Cartman", who seems to be a r0ach fanboy and advertising doom as well.

Oh and then the forum retard gembitz, who is just.. a special boy. One day he favours BTC and another day he calls for doom, adding an extremely annoying "weeee" in the end of his posts. And he goes around the altcoin section writing only in caps.

yeah the older ones i'm not very familiar with.... i saw a very few posts of proudhon but no more as that, and yeah r0ach is just bitter selling @the most wrong time.... kwuckduck never saw him

yeah there's a difference between permabears, nocoiners, trolls etc

like majormax is also a more bearish guy  short - middleterm, but has a bright long term perspective .... i hope its not gonna play out how he thinks, but thats an opinion gotta respect someones thought always,   even HM is slightly bearish short - middleterm, also like BTC to step in faster, but i love his postings and thinkings

of course i like the over bullish ones the most

but i myself just think, longterm its the BOMB and untill then we gonna sit tight and have to wait, if suddenly BTC skyrocket or if it go's very slow whatever its narrative is, i'll be on board
