In this 2019 bitcoin, im not expecting in this year because we can not predict what will happen. im just waiting for the good news as soon as the bitcoin still work it will raise again this is the chalenge we must succes all obstacles, after this dump and the ballrun come.

Right I am also waiting for good news in bitcoin cause it's hard to predict bitcoin on it's value I just waited and hope it will rise, and I know bitcoin is fighting for all obstacle he faced now and I know after this the sun will rise for bitcoin to give us good profit in our investment.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

there is no need to expect a price increase in the next two years, because it is unlikely that investors will return to the market so quickly
absolutely right and most importantly we have to attract investors again in any way so that investors return to trust and want to go back to the market, the problem is that with so many investors returning it is most likely that bitcoin prices will experience a good price increase

2018 is not a good year for Bitcoin (BTC) because the price of BTC has declined throughout the year, starting from Rp 220 million at the beginning of the year to the lowest price of Rp 45 million last month. Overall, all cryptocurrency is still experiencing a bearish trend for now.

Although this year is one of the worst years for Bitcoin, famous Bitcoin investors still predict that 2019 will be a bullish year for Bitcoin because large companies like the Nasdaq and NYSE will launch Bitcoin Futures contracts (Bitcoin Futures).

In addition, people hope that the SEC can approve the VanEck Bitcoin ETF at the next hearing on February 27, 2019. All of this news has a positive impact on Bitcoin.
2019 is a year to watch over and investors are carefull to put in good money now as the uncertainty in the market is very high.  If the ETF is approve by sec this year then we should expect another upwards or bull run that is going to push bitcoin over $10,000 again but if the sec still keep it in uncertain level then we might see bitcoin in the range of $3700 and $5000 throughout the year.
However,  I am expecting 2020 to be cryptocurrencies year as a lot of development and public adoptions is going to happen that might push bitcoin above $20,000.

At least, we are now at $4046 as I wrote this and I hope it will increase more and reach $4200 because I see that bitcoin price can reach $41xx before. So the price might come back to that price or even higher and I already. But we don't know how high bitcoin can go up and the important now is we need to determine what price we want to sell the bitcoin if you want to sell soon. Don't get too much profit if you are not sure because you will be late to sell your bitcoin Cheesy

Hey yes 2018 was not the year we Bitcoins enthusiasts expected, but it proved one thing that big or small no expert can predict bitcoins prices accurately. I'm optimistic for the year 2019 that we shall touch 5k levels in short term and 10k in the long run, as we're seeing slow but steady adoption by the masses. It's also pertinent to note with Nasdaq Bitcoins futures just days away there's not been much momentum in the prices, hence now the key events are Bakkt which is delayed and the impending approval of Bitcoins Etf by the sec.

the thing that is so important to me is the fact that there has been so many good news for bitcoin all indicating a rise, many of them were all through 2018. but the price didn't rise, instead it went down. to me it shows that the adoption has been growing while the price wasn't reacting to it, most probably because it was kept down artificially.

what that means is that we currently have an unbalance in the market where price should have gone up but it went down instead!!!

with more upcoming news, such as Japanese ETF going through,... the opposite forces that are pushing the price towards rising are growing stronger and the manipulative forces keeping the price down can not fight them for long. so i expect a lot of rise in 2019 because of it.

No one knows which direction the price will move but I have seen in the news people have mix reaction. Some are saying it may hit $1,300 and some are saying it may cross the last ATH.

I may find the reference on the web I saw yesterday.
Yeah, the bottoming is still in waiting thats why prediction nowadays are not reliable though some are giving good views in the near time.
But i believe that the dipping is not over and we will see more in 2019 as the experts whos what they calling themselves that 2020 is the year to expect bull coming

if the SEC approves the submission, chances are we will see the bull this year, but if the submission is rejected it will likely be the end of everything. if the submission is rejected, it will slow down the recovery of bitcoin.

It's easiest to me to believe to all of bearish prognoses than to opposite one. As we say here - hope for best, but be prepared for worst. So, holding strategy which used by the most of owners this days is the perfect in meaning of being prepared for worst.

SEC Approval is a good thing but we should not count a lot about it. Bitcoin adoption by many new businesses is important also. The next halving will also have an impact. This year is crucial for bitcoin  Smiley

And I live far away from US, what SEX, I have with SEC, or all the people in my country, surrounding countries? This approval is nothing more than good marketing for crypto from one side, from other side government sector will try to find  way to regulate crypto somehow, how else can they charge people taxes and fees without some kind of regulations form their side, like we need it.
My prediction is simple if demand grows, price will grow, and looks like demand will grow, world is getting ready to adopt crypto.
