Unlike ICOs, issuing Utility Tokens, STOs provide Security Tokens which can bring an improvement to our traditional finance system and enhance free market exposure. I made this How to launch and STO guide, which explains the process a project needs to go through, law and regulation-wise to launch an STO More and more companies are starting to grasp how innovative STO's are. Imagine future stocks will run on the blockchain, transacting will be much faster, cheaper and easier. I am not sure about this, it seems that it is not much different, it just seems safer because there is a change in the word "SECURITY". Actually there is nothing wrong with ICOs, the wrong thing is that developers and teams are mostly irresponsible and build a careless product.

At this point everything is just speculation. As long as it can protect people from losing money (unless it's their own stupidity which cause that to happens) then it's worth to wait imo. No need to be overly confident, or skeptical, if we don't have enough information on this matter. Regulations about STO, even ICO is in fact still not clear, IMO.

STOs has their other side like the ICOs, there has been rumors of scam concerning the said STOs even if its been regulated. ICOs gave fake promises but believe me that even STOs will do likewise but never judge between the two. |

With all the mess going on the ICO we need something to replace it with something that is more safer to investors and STO could be the answer, if we cannot implement the regulation in the ICO, let's let go of ICP and look for a better option like STO.

That is really one of the new things.
However, it seems that investors are still not ready. I noticed STO now not attract many investors as the initial phase of the ICO.
Of course it also by the impact of the market. Investors are scared so they will consider very carefully before deciding to invest.

Ok, so, STO is the future it is so then we should have a list of STO that succeeded in their crowdfunding and become a huge project in the market, but so far we still don't have one but I'm glad that ICO has a replacement in case it died from the absence of investors.

Yet in fact this is just another scheme of fraudulent with the promise that you're not just investing in a coin but rather in their company and surprisingly people hop in. I think ICO has done a good part to let people see that not only in traditional businesses we can earn but also in digital means. But it has been a busy and a lot of lapses has been seen. STOs are far better compared to ICOs basically in their project plans execution. STOs actually help protect investors money from be drain by fraudulent individuals who may call themselves CEOs, this was far from ICOs, that's why there were serial scams during the time of ICOs. Although there are still possible fraud that can still take place in STOs but will not be as obvious in ICOs.
