I think that in 2019 it is worth starting to invest in cryptocurrencies, but it is too early to do so, as the market is increasingly going to the bottom and I think that all the same Bitcoin will drop to 2000 dollars.

I feel the market is done dropping, for the most part. It's corrected after the amazing bull run in 2017-18. A bottomed out bearish market is the best time to buy, imo. So in 2019 we should all be shopping for long hodls! I'm curious what other alts people are buying. I will be picking up ETH, ADA, XRP, WAVES, and either NEO or OMG. What will you be shopping for this year?

The most coins I bought is the coins which have a low price, but I don't close my eyes for the coins with a high price like litecoin, monero, dash because I am sure that coin can increase as before. I think if I can have more money, I will buy more the coins you mention although I already have some of them. This year will be a good time for shopping any coins at the market especially with the low coins because the low coins can get a pump in anytime. But I will make a list of the coins I want to buy because I don't want to buy the coins which don't have a chance to increase later.

A good choice of coins to buy. Wink I'm not buying anything yet. I'm waiting for another decline in prices, but after the decline maybe buy some coins.
I had the mind to buy at a reduced price, I would certainly have waited for the price to go on the ethereum.

I'm surprised people still buy ADA, XRP and those kind of coins! I do not own anything against these projects and I do not know them particularly, but the energies that emanate each one is not good, it is as if they had tried to take the BTC in exchange for these coins. If I buy a coin of this style, I'll buy the depreciated ones.

I think BTC should be at least 50% of total portfolio. The rest I would distribute between ETH\LTC\ZCL and little amount of DOGE.
Though altcoins I would buy not earlier than Q3-Q4 of 2019

BTC   Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System   BTC
A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution. Digital signatures provide part of the solution, but the main benefits are lost if a trusted third party is still required to prevent double-spending. We propose a solution to the double-spending problem using a peer-to-peer network. The network timestamps transactions by hashing them into an ongoing chain of hash-based proof-of-work, forming a record that cannot be changed without redoing the proof-of-work. The longest chain not only serves as proof of the sequence of events witnessed, but proof that it came from the largest pool of CPU power. As long as a majority of CPU power is controlled by nodes that are not cooperating to attack the network, they'll generate the longest chain and outpace attackers. The network itself requires minimal structure. Messages are broadcast on a best effort basis, and nodes can leave and rejoin the network at will, accepting the longest proof-of-work chain as proof of what happened while they were gone.

Yes you are correct how much we are spending for Bitcoin is more than the other currency that we have to invest is very important because it can't will be the only trust that we have still now to get the normal profit for us that's why I also think and will be the best to invest.

The fact is that you need to be active and minimize your risks, this is primarily to disperse all your investments in several projects, because even Bitcoin can be at risk.

I think the best profit will be shown by the newest coins like NTS, HYDRO or XYO. These coins have never experienced any bull run yet and I have no doubts that they will show us amazing up movements in the nearest future.

Now we can see very cheap prices for all top altcoins. I think it's suitable to buy altcoins like, XLM, ETH, ADA or EOS. It's not so risky than buying altcoins with small capitalization .

You should not buy EOS because it has a little demand compared with another coin. There was no a lot of people interested using eos platform because it looks so complicated for the majority of us. EOS should be erased from your choices dude.

You have a good choice and i think thats coin is good project with solid developers team. Beside your list, i think Wanchain and ICX is good coin and have potential in 2019. I am believe 2019 will be a good year for altcoin after 2018 drop the price more than 90%.

ETH as much as possible.

Litecoin is still one of my choice.

And the most unforgettable and meme coin of all, Dogecoin.

Of course, everything can happen, but I doubt that Bitcoin will fall to 2 thousand. As for the investments, we had the whole 2018 year to do it. Yes, you can buy more cryptocurrencies now, but I have enough altcoins.

I would buy a kick, they have some kind of update coming out in the spring and I think there will be a surge in price.

I like your list of coins, as I think about the purchase of coins after the market falls, the only thing that I would like to note that the purchase of NEO is a pretty questionable investment.

Ugh, I hate xrp buyers.
Do a bit of research, ripple is a terrible company.
And ADA? Cardano has become a laughing stock in the smart contract platforms category.
They are even worse then eos, at least eos has released its mainnet.
But both are still totally non functional and aren't even close to penetrating the market.

But, I guess I'm being too harsh, to each their own.
And yes, it is a great time to buy.
Last year, I had set my buy in price to btc at $2500.
I decided to go ahead and buy back in when it dropped down to $3200.
I bought up ICON and Polymath.
And some still say that cardano will soar above ethereum, I can not believe it.

It seems to me that promising coins in 2019 will be Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Certainly their future.
The cryptocurrency market is in constant development and very changeable, but these coins have proven their viability in difficult conditions.

On the contrary, I feel the market has not returned and the price is still down, it's just that it's a good time to immediately buy quality Altcoin at a low price. We don't know when the bullrun market is coming but I am sure that soon, in my opinion, the coins we have to buy are ETH, XRP, BCH and EOS which have great potential to soar.

Now is indeed the right time to increase our investment, because currently there are many coins at low prices. and the coins that I have invested now are Eth, BCH, Riplle, Eos, Litcoin, Tron and Cardano. But not only that, I still have coins other than the coins I mentioned.

indeed I also feel that the market has not recovered, we must take advantage of the market conditions that are experiencing a decline to buy top coins at low prices, the coins you mentioned are indeed worth buying because they have the potential to provide big profits later
