I just forgot about one of my coins and the swap was ended in the 31st of December
and guess what?

I just lost 0.3 btc because of it
God damn this is so painful

Teams of token thats gonna be swapped always makes an announcement on when and how is the process of token swap will happen,it is your fault for not checking it.Holding coin doesntmean buy it store and forget it,you need to still check news from time to time to avoid this

Except you are a full time crypto traders or crypto business person that you will have time to be checking news about all your tokens from time to time. Just like me, I have so many tokens that I don’t even have update on them for the past 8 months, I don’t even know if they have been delisted or not because my intention of keeping them is for future.

How will it be possible for me to be checking over 200 coins that I have from time to time with other heavy jobs that I am doing, I found out that only the popular ones is what I have been checking on most, which is why op advise us to just limit ones investment to few top coins rather than having a handful of coins you will eventually forget about.

Some developers allow even if it is too late, as long as you have a good reason why you did not participate in their coin swap, you did not name the coin when you should maybe there are investors with the same experience with this coin, so why not edit and name the coin.

If you can't follow a project closely it's better to sell off than to lose money, i watch all my asset closely because of incident like this, there is nothing bad in having many assset but you must be ready to watch it closely.

 I think it is not hard to manage your time with your coins if you will deal with single coin, as I want to say we can invest so many saving in one coin like in bitcoin we can buy so many bitcoin so it will not hard for to keep it save we can use single wallet blockchain, It gives higher quality safety, we will not forget the private key and we can keep it as long as we want, so I think we can buy so many coins it is not a big deal.

I can understand your problem. Once you got a lot of altcoins and tokens, it’s very hard to keep in touch to every news about the token, and as a result we can loose big amount of money.

For once I taught I was in this alone,  this also happens f u are a bounty hunter with multiple wallets and have to move coins to different exchanges waiting for a bull run,  I turn to forget most of my alts. Thanks for the reminder

Looking at the post from the lens of a monetary economics, I can say that yes it is not good to invest in so many coins for the factor of diversification loose its effect once you exceed a given number of assets, but you can invest in as much as 30 assets in the crypto market. Better target the coins in the top lists. You make good gains and you do not loose value and track of gosh.

Cryptocurrency is high risk investment and in many country still unregulated, i think make investment in several altcoin is good to reducing risk. We should make good portion to reducing risk but bitcoin is safest investment in cryptomarket

I can't focus now more ico Because it is very difficult to pick good projects. I have removed myself from ico investment. Therefore, taking risk is not a motive for me now. If you can be smart in ico investment you can invest.
