Nahhh I just bought and bought and bought 😂, but those are something that are well used by now e.g. laptop, TV, phone etc.. so no regrets. I did save up a portion of monies on my savings account for my uni life tho, so I guess I invested on myself if that counts.

Also been thinking about starting a small brick and mortar business and I may get the monies from that 🤔🤔🤔

A year or two ago, I was one of the lucky people who broke even with my investment capital and since then I made almost 800% profit on the capital that I invested in Bitcoin. I decided very early on that I would not have all my eggs in one basket and I started to sell some bitcoins to buy assets and also collectables <Old coins> to serve as a plan B.

How many people sold some bitcoins for some profit and used that profit to invest in something else, just in case something went wrong with this experiment?

If you follow the same strategy, please share your thoughts on what you are buying or planning on buying to distribute your investment portfolio?  Wink
Bought a house, but of course not buy it directly with bitcoin. And now i can rent it and get money every year, in my country rent house can do monthly or yearly, well at least it is good investment.

I have read most of the replies in this thread and this seems to be the best bet, because you earn rent from the property and most property prices in a good area, goes upward, so you can still sell for a profit in the future.

Property investment is only a wise choice if you bought the property without debt <not having to pay all those interest> and if you buy property in a good location.  Wink

Keep them coming, I can see a lot of people with good ideas.  Grin

I went the other way around and invested in property first with the left over spare money and time invested into crypto. Bitcoin is still speculative with high risk and high gains

personally, I did not have time to sell my only bitcoin and did not earn anything on it. I bought it at $ 6,000 and had to sell at $ 20,000 but I did not have time. biting my elbows. thinking of selling it now but nothing is earned

Yes, I sold some amount of my bitcoin and I invested in some merchandise that I've resold and I am still doing it. I love plan B philosophy, it's something that is necessary in life of every person. Nobody should rely on one thing only,. It can go wrong and you don't have to be very smart to get that conclusion.

I am always thinking of the future. I am close to 50 so retirement starts
to play on the mind.

Over the last 25 years i have been collecting Coins, Books, Vinyl and
magazines, collectable ones at least and some gold and silver.

I also last year with Bitcoin bought a future classic motorbike with
some Bitcoin. (Bitcoin into FIAT)

The Stock Market is the right choice at least for me. I mean you will still be monitoring all the movement in just one computer and you don't need someone right by your side managing what you are doing like some other assets. I think this is the very best "don't put all your eggs in one basket" situation for me as it is totally a different industry, just buying another altcoin is not enough. Just look at the crypto market right now you will see that almost all other cryptocurrencies follow the movement of Bitcoin's price.

I think most people that ere in Crypto space before 2017 made money and took profit in the last bull run, it now depend on what you ivested your money into. The difference here is that investing into other asset apart from Crypto   do not give thesame return as crypto, Crypto return is very huge and now I am thinking of selling part of the asset I bought with the profit I made  in the last bull run and invest back Crypto, want to take advantage of the coming halving next year

This is what the majority is planning to do. Those people who take profits are now sitting on a large amount of fiat money thinking what you are thinking. That they would be willing to risk it again and purt money to work in crypto. What paid off once can pay off again and even if they lose they will only lose a part of their profits from last year.
We can expect the next bull run to be very and sharp.

For me, I sold some of my bitcoins to buy other altcoins which have the potential to become a great cryptocurrency like Bitcoin. Looking at the current state of the world, cryptocurrencies are the best option or way one can invest in. The crypto market is young and the ecosystem keeps growing everyday as time passes by. This presents a great venture to be a plan B project in terms of financial investment.

I bought gold jewelries!!!. Back 1999-2000 I bought lots of them and then went to Canada for sometime and when I go back Gold price was slowly spiking so I got huge gain. So with my bitcoin earning, I try to get as much as I can to hedge, lol. I remember pawning some of them during the financial crisis of 2008 and it was really a big help to me to raise money quick, I still have them and will continue to collect more (usually bracelets and necklace).

For me now, I stayed out of market. I'm in  stablecoin and wait to buy. My portfolio is 50% for bitcoin, 30% for ETH and top altcoins, 20% for some new coins/ tokens. In my portfolio, bitcoin has been focused.

I'm aware that bitcoin is still experimental yet it already able to revolutionize financial sector. But it does not close the possibility there will be something wrong with bitcoin. After all, it is a speculative asset. I diversify my investment to hard assets.

I don't buy the other assets except for crypto because I still trying to search more profit. Although in the last year we can book the highest profit ever, I don't take much profit because my balance still not too big compared with the others.

So far, I only convert my bitcoin into fiat because I need fiat to buy my daily needs and once I can collect a big profit, maybe I will start to think about investing in other things in my real life. But I also want to buy more coin because I see I have a big chance to increase my balance in the future.

I see a lot of people are using Alt coin investments as their Plan B and I would not advise people to do that. We only have to look closely at 2018 to see why that strategy would fail. The reason for this is simple, because in 2018 the Bitcoin price went down and most Alt coins took a hammering at the same time. <Bitcoin and Alt coin investments fall under the same umbrella of Crypto currency investments in our portfolio.>  Wink

Your portfolio <Plan B> should rather diversify into other asset classes and investments that are not linked to Crypto currencies.  Grin

I have a plan B to buy an ICO Token that is dying in the current exchange market, because many ICO Tokens have prices far from the ICO price. Well, my plan is to buy it with only a little money that I have, but if the price of Tokens is very cheap on the market, I will get a lot of Tokens, so I will hold until the price of Bitcoin rises, because if Bitcoin rises it will be followed by all Altcoins.

bitcoin is THE plan B for me. it is not like i started with bitcoin and then moved one to other things. it was the other way around. it is always going to be a different "basket" for each person in each different country depending on the situation. it consists of stocks, bonds, precious metals and even real estate. then bitcoin was added and i increased the investment in it as much as i could.

as for altcoins which some people have been bag holding in the past year or so, i still find it a terrible idea because not only they don't perform well in the long run but also they are highly risky as investments because of their pump and dumps.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.
