BitPay's card definitely seems to work, though there's some rather mixed reviews about it online from what I can tell. I was able to locate this Bitcointalk thread about the BitPay card from January of last year if you'd like to see what other people think about it. I do not personally own the card, but it seems to work alright. Wirex (click to go to BCT thread) also offers a Bitcoin debit card, and you'll have to verify yourself to use it just like all other BTC debit card services. Here's a direct link to the Wirex site; seems like Wirex also has minor issues from what I can see in their thread on this forum, but the issues don't seem to be anything major.

Here some list about bitcoin debit card Bitcoin Debit Cards. There already some reviews with it and status about if they're working or currently have a problem. However, i don't see upaycard on the list, idk if they're not investigating it.

Never heard about Upay card I suggest that you try other trusted debit or visa card from trusted sources. Check this list of cards here and I'm sure you will find the best card you want here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1242788.900

- BitPay cards are not available as it says on the website https://bitbay.net/en/payments/bitbay-card- Revolut: here is a feedback from a user in the french forum https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2761604.0(translated in EN) The interest is less for those who already have crypto since you can't send them to your revolut account: you can only spend the crypto purchased on Revolut and spend them with your card, they will automatically be converted into FIAT. If you want to make a fiat buy/withdrawal and your FIAT account is not enough, your crypto will be converted for the transaction to take place. Here some list about bitcoin debit card Bitcoin Debit Cards. There already some reviews with it and status about if they're working or currently have a problem. However, i don't see upaycard on the list, idk if they're not investigating it. Dude your list is so outdated that almost all of them don't have a debit card anymore (such as Advcash, Bitwala,..)

Mate, that's BitBay, not Bit Pay. BitBay's cards might not be available, but Bit Pay's cards are available as usual: https://bitpay.com/card/

Wirex has a nice working card with 0.5 % cashback. Monaco card is released in Singapore and soon will start shiping in the United states ( already collecting addresses and card release is imminent). With some nice cash back options too.
Also, can use NEXO to get crypto backed loan. Instead of selling yout BTC you would get 50% of yout BTC value as a loan and would still keep BTC. NEXO is about to release Credit card, the release is imminent too.

Mate, that's BitBay, not Bit Pay. BitBay's cards might not be available, but Bit Pay's cards are available as usual: https://bitpay.com/card/Bitpay is USA only. Outside America they used Wavecrest like all the other dead cards like Xapo and many others. They haven't made any noises about making them available to non Americans again. If you're outside the US and in the EU there aren't very many options any more. Wirex works OK but fees are pretty high. If you're outside the EU and US you might be up shit creek. Never heard of that Upay card myself. If you do go for it don't leave any money on there just in case.

My recommendation would be Wirex. It's functioning perfect and in a year and half that I'm using it never had any problems. Fees are reasonable and card was always accepted everywhere without exception. Also, user support is very good. Another good thing is that it's multicurrency so you can top up your card with other coins, not just Bitcoin.

I thought the point of bitcoin was to cut out the middlemen? If you can look for stores that accept bitcoin directly without using a middlemen that is essentially making your payment in fiat after taking their cut for very little work.

It's not the reality. And many a place doesn't have a decent or reliable exchange. It may be 'cheating' but for many it's the only way they can spend their BTC with ease. And even if a merchant wants to accept directly their employees and supply chain won't.

If you can look for stores that accept bitcoin directly without using a middlemen that is essentially making your payment in fiat after taking their cut for very little work. Most of the vendors still accept crypto with a middle man and convert it directly to fiat. In Europe taxation is a heck, and it complicates everything not to convert BTC. To hold BTC and not convert on the point of sale only works in the bull market, but with these huge swings, i am happy they accept crypto at all. People who pay directly with crypto dont have to (who is gona prove they spent crypto?) declare to the tax man, while using cards all history is visible and the tax man will want his cut.
