This time kidnappers want XMR for the release of a Norwegian billionaire's wife.

The point I'm making is that Bitcoin already has a rep, among the uninitiated, of being a drug/dark web coin, and when criminals demand payment in crypto, the everyday person further makes that link.

That really is sad but we should not take such news specifically against the crypto and blockchain tech we have to take it generally as we know good and bad people are everywhere and crimes are also everywhere and in every walk of life so we have to understand that someone is using crypto negatively in such events while crypto itself is not negative at all.
