I once participated in a bounty that paid in Eth and it was really great, I think bounties been paid in USDT wouldn't be a bad idea at all and with this the excessive dumping after listing will be curtailed

If I would be able to see a bounty campaign that would pay me in USDT, I would jump on it so fast that the Bounty Manager's head would spin.

It was nice to hear that one, I was a bounty hunter also. It was a great for us bounty hunter that paid by USD. Because our income for that bounty was good and it brings solve our financially problem.

I have seen bounty campaigns that are paid in USDT, ETH or BTC but they are usually very low in allocation, most times they are not worth participating at all, there might have been one or two that pays more though.

USDT requires actual funds to start the project incase bounties had to be paid in USDT, while it's 100% free for the developers to pay using their own token.
also, even if they sell their own token for $1 each, there's surely no way what so ever that they'd be willing to pay anything close to that in USDT!

IF somehow it was enforced to use USDT for payouts, there'd be very very few bounties available.

do you agree if the bounty hunter is paid USDT?
the good or bad impact on investors and the development of the ICO project, give your reasons

Bounty hunter does not paid with usdt, but some others paid with BTC and or ETH, but usually majority of the campaign's will be paid with company tokens or coins, this is done in order to scatter the tokens and have it used by participants by means of trading and or peer to peer transfer. Nowadays, it's getting harder to be paid with coins or tokens due to the reason that the market is not suitable sometimes.

I will definitely get onboard and do that campaign if an ICO is going to pay bounty hunters USDT in the old days ICO bounty hunters are paid Bitcoin and US dollar, but now you cannot find a single bounty campaign that pays Bitcoin and US dollar I remember participating in three campaign in the past.

i think that can be true, because you know usdt i can look as good coin, so when every bounty using usdt in the their payment is profitable for bounty hunters but not for developers.

For me getting bounty paid in USDT is not good as i cannot convert the USDT to my fiat currency as i dont have account in paypal or any other usdt wallet so i will only prefer to take crytocurrency as bounty payment.

I recently participated in a bounty campaign which paid in USDT and I have to admit that it was one of the best campaigns I have participated in till date, price if the token doesn't change so I got my full value in USDT, I loved it very much

To be honest, I haven't heard any bounty that paid in USDT, care to share what bounty campaign it is? I'm just curious.

I participated wherein they pegged the payment in USD not USDT. But I wouldn't care if they pay in USDT though perhaps once advantage is that you won't be affected by the wild price swings specially that there's a habit of bounty hunters dumping their tokens once they get their rewards.

That doesn't make sense, there is a lot of ways to the rome. You can convert your USDT to another crypto that available in your country and doesn't it enough for you? Remember USDT can keep the value of our amount and then it will be a very good thing to try. That will secure the token from a flash dump.

That is a good idea, but the only thing is its possibility. Most projects team would want to keep an already established coins for themselves and prefer to distribute their tokens that does not yet have value to bounty participants.
Also, some projects are looking for holders, because that is part of the criteria of listing on exchange, so they may not want to consider that option.

I think it would be a fantastic idea if companies start to pay in USDT. Bounty Hunters will surely receive something valuable for their work (many times they just earn a useless token, which will never be listed) and they will do their tasks with much more commitment...

yes i agree with the idea of paying hunters in USDT, atleast it will help developers clear thwe doubts about bounty hunters being the ones to dump their token price.

And at the same time will deliver hunters from working in vain if the project exit scam after ICO without Exchange listing .

This would be completely awesome. ICOs will stop crying about bounty hunters dump and bounty hunters will be able to do anything with earned tethers. I do not see any problem with this idea.

IMO ICOs will find their own way on this matter and bounty participants are barrier for teams after listing on exchanges. Why don't teams talk about private investors who bought cheap tokens in a flash sale?  This offer is debatable.

Well it all depends on the mind set of the bounty hunter's and the company because for you to option in for payments in USD against the cryptocurrency payments is due to some conditions that may be brought to the table and if you think payment in USD is sure then one can option in to payment in that currency.

you are only looking at things from your own point of view. obviously you would love it if you could get paid in something that didn't get dumped so that you could be sure that your payment is not going to lose its value the day it is sell-able.

but from the point of view of the payers (the employer) it is not a good thing because they would have to spend actual money to pay you whereas when they pay you in their own token, they are not spending ANYTHING at all since they created that token out of thin air without spending anything! so it is worth a lot more to them if they paid  you in shit rather than paying you in real money (or anything with actual value like tether) where they have to buy it first.

I disagree with you in part
Payment with USDT will not affect the project owners
significantly because the total prizes do not exceed 5% at best
But the effect would be a deduction from the power of Token because
they did not give the prizes by tokens as a sign of distrust.

It will be a great experience to get bounty token in USDT! This can be possible if a legit project agreed with it. Investors and projects owner always blame bounty hunters for the coin dumping price, though they are wrong about it. but still, they can pay bounty hunters in ETH, BTC or USDT to avoid the dump! But I don't think this will happen early. If the STO era comes then we can see it.

I faced it once with probit bounty, but I was lazy to participate in that bounty, because pool was small and there wasn't signature bounty. So I missed it and as far as I know payout was enough and all of hunters were happy to paricipate
