All this hard forks are doing the cryptocurrency market far more harm and I can't even see any good. The market has been recovering steadily this year, but now, the Constantinople hard fork of Ethereum appears to be responsible for the sudden market declines today. Similar thing to last year's BCH hard forks.

Most important thing to be noted in all this year or more long bear trend is that a coin moves slightly up and then after a few days crashes with double the intensity and the worst part is that we cannot do anything other than waiting for recovery.

I'm suprised a lot of dip in just a little time, why is the market dumping badly again. But if everyone is patience we can benefit at the end.

So far I can only see a bearish trend of course if you do not look now on all the drawdown I think you can buy now in long , as I think the growth will be this year

buy the rumor sell the news, big players know that people will purchase ETH on that news and it is easier to make the price lower. In the long term, I may assume we already showed the lows for ETH.

Checking in tonight looking at my wallet I saw a drop in the respective prices of the coin, after reading some articles two days ago on this forum I wasn't expecting such but with all this we can say that the dip still continues. Looking for brighter days ahead, we all must smarter though.

probably you lost that demand wave from 70$ to 150$ and it was happened only due to good news background and upcoming forks and updates.
Now the whole market is falling and in case of ETH price it can be corrected a bit and it is fully normally i think.

That was quite fast drop , didn't even think we will get back to 3.6k so fast =D Anyway im quite positive this year so lets wait and see . Patiently waiting for bakkt and see what will happen with market before launch

The forked coins are likely to be a scam so people are selling ethereum to avoid the hassle of making them compatible with the new ethereum. They will probably buy back after the fork if all goes well.

It's normal that the market is moving either up or down, the market is not done with the bear market yet. We might still see some more dips in the future but i hope not too deep. It's quite amazing how it suddenly dropped from $4k to $37, and suddenly everything returns to normal as it is in the last time.

It's reason is probably a shory term dip and it will not last long for ethereums price will come back again to its 150 place and later on 250$ place

It's really hard to imagine that the prices including top cryptocurrency coins have declined by at least 10%. What might have caused sharp decline considering that January 16 is just few days from now?
