How to recognize a good time to sell a coin?

The good time is when everyone is buying. But then again waiting for that time to come may be risky as there is always a chance to lose the investment if the coin dies. Keep looking for advertisements, posts related to the coin, and other comments. The general rule is, the lesser popular or known the coin is, the riskier it is, but some times the risk pays of too. Personally, if I invest in some less known coin, I would wait till it is decent enough and then sell it. Decent means about 10-20% that too on a good day. Rest is on you, how much gamble you want to play.

For me to recognize the best time for selling a coin was being at its peak. For example, when the coin you were holding was being at the high ends just like like the dencoin tokens then thats the right time for you to sell. I would also say that its better to buy coins at a lower price when the prices are down, so just hold and sell them when the prices increase at the market. So in this kind of case, the more coins you can sell is tje more profit you can get.

If you are long term player who likes taking risks, then you are allowed to wait as much as you like. I, however, don’t wait for that much if I am investing in more lesser known coins.

you can recognize it if the coin have some good purpose if the team is doing their promise in terms of development
as of now because there a lot of similar coin purpose its become hard to recognize
so for me i just hold every coin i received and maybe hold it for long time
who knows it might become big someday

I am also rolling my head around this subject as it is not easy... the ideal would be to sell it in parts, for example, split it in 3 parts and define targets for each part...
I can't really get it to work like that due to several practical aspects... I guess that with so many shitcoins and scams it is more a gamble than anything...
Nevertheless I find that less and better bounties are better than a lot of bounties with no substance

depending on the token or coin is it much in demand when entering the market if the coin is in great demand by people automatically the price will soar and vice versa

It's hard to determine the right time to sell a coin.
Sometimes you think that the coin is dead, the price is below 10 Sat, the team is not active.
And after a while the team talks about the resumption of development and a sudden listing on Binance Dex. Price makes x10 or even more.
Such things are difficult to predict or calculate.

Indeed, i had experience about this. I am selling a token several months ago and i tought this token already dead but suddently the token rising because make annountcement swap to BNB Chain. I think hard to think when the right time to sell because sometimes there is a lot surprise after we sell the token

Sell when you are convinced with the benefits you already gained from your assets, be contented and enjoy whatever results you received,
don't fall with some fall as it's part of the cycle but instead keep waiting for your profitable position.

Actually thats the risk in having a cryptocurrency. Its very unpredictable and you'll never know if its worth holding or not. I think it all depends on your personal goal and target. Don't be too greedy because you might end up with nothing. Just set a target like if the value reach 5X its original value, sell it. If not yet, keep holding it.

I agree that good news like mainnet launch or new listing give a good impulse for a price growth. So it's pretty good time to sell your coins to get a profit.
