Is Apple going Crypto?

I havent heard anything official from apple. They may accept crypto
in the future but its hard to imagine them accepting bitcoin for example.

They might hold out for an "official" crypto related to FIAT. I would
imagine if they do decide to accept bitcoin it would be inline or
closely followed by other global brands doing the same.

Dont think its official announced but its going to great movement for such amazing thing to happen one days ..  very soon company like apple , facebook , google , microsoft  allot big company will adopt crypto currency .. but right now think the want to understand technology behind it first ..

Someone told me that one of the largest companies in US is going crypto, it will start accepting crypto currencies in their local and online stores, and they will go further by integrating it in their electronic payment.

This all going to happen late in 2019, they will start by loosen up their eco system as it currently very tight.

He said a lot of things but I didn’t care much as I don’t know what was his source.

Few days ago, Apple announces that other manufacturers TV will support Air Play which is big as Apple never allow that on third party devices.

This reminded me of what he said, and made me think that he knows what he talking about, further more I assume now the company should be Apple.

So I f Apple start accepting crypto on their Apple Pay, it will going to have huge impact on the crypto market the prices should sky rocketing, everyone will follow Apple and probably do the same.

I have few crypto and based on the above If many confirms that they hear the same, I will buy more and hold selling them until end of 2019.

different things have come up in the technological sace and more especially in the cryptocurrency space as almost every industry in the information communication and technological space wants to adopt the blockchain technology in their operations and that is in a way expanding the use case of this crypto currency and blockchain space entirely. it will not be mch of a surprise if Apple has considered following suit.

This argument is not far from rational. Expecting from Apple to accept payments in bitcoin and some major cryptos is a good thing because this firm is always a pioneer in tech sector. There is only one obstacle which is a proper legislation.  As we all know, Apple is obligated to comply with regulations and they can't take this decision by theirselves.

Any links or articles or news where it states that Apple will accept bitcoin. That "someone" you are talking about didn't give you any reference or did you not bother to ask for links/reference? Don't just blindly believe what you hear and spit out those bullshits to others. Misleading information is actually of no good to anyone.
Did a quick google search. No where does it mentions that they will accept bitcoins. But at least i got to know that they are now once again allowing bitcoin wallets in their store.

I imagine that sooner or later most companies that are involved in technology will get their feet into cryptos, if they are really as innovative as a few years ago, they must already have several projects that use the blockchain or cryptocurrencies, we can only speculate here but is an almost certain one.

if Apple comes onboard the blockchain technology i do not see it as much of a challenge. it has always been a welcome development when new projects come onboard the blockchain technology and give real life use cases. no doubt, Aplle has seen the use and importance of the technology and they feel its high time they take the next step.

We don't know it yet because there are no official reports from them and besides they are only accepting crypto-currency as payments to their products so there is nothing new about it. Most of the businesses around the world are accepting crypto-currency as payments for their products, could it be food, things, property, etc. But I will expect huge growth in the market too since they were most likely whales too.

Who told you that?

Who told you that is either severely misinformed himself or simply telling you lies. There are likely a few businesses related to things you mentioned that are actually accepting crypto. All others are accepting fiat and nothing else. The fact that you can pay with your Bitcoin payment card doesn't in the least mean that "Bitcoin is accepted here"

Your coins get converted to fiat by a payment processor, so no business involved sees your crypto (or even knows that you paid with a cryptocurrency). It's a big distance from actually accepting cryptocurrency payments. Sorry for being a wet blanket in case your feelings got hurt and beliefs ruined

Big companies like Microsoft did this before. I'm not sure if it impacted the cryptocurrency market because they do it right where bitcoin is booming already. Maybe it will affect bitcoin. But it will only affect bitcoin if the market really uses bitcoin as a payment option. If no one uses it then it will nothing but an option to use.

you should stop reading crap on the internet from random people. they  tell you anything when they want you to buy cryptocurrencies, specially when it comes to altcoins.
it is very possible that Apple starts accepting "bitcoin" as a payment option soon but there still is no news about it and "soon" can mean a couple of months to a couple of years from now.

this  is exactly why they haven't been accepting bitcoin yet because YOU don't see or use bitcoin as a currency but only as an investment. so why would they accept something that YOU don't want to spend?

there may be other causes that will make Apple accept Bitcoin as a payment transaction by the end of years 2019. as time goes by they will definitely love crypto, if Apple can work with Bitcoin then the price of Bitcoin will certainly rise high in 2020.

Well, Apple is big on security and privacy so it might make sense. Also, I would feel safer using an iOS native wallet from Apple *way* before any wallet on an Android device.

there is a better chance of Apple creating their own altcoin and then using that instead since they will be in full control of it while benefiting from the hype of blockchain technology and at the same time make a lot more money.

if they wanted to go the decentralized route then they would accept bitcoin not "crypto" so if anything it would affect "bitcoin" price no "cryptocurrency" prices in general.

I don't see why not.  I am sure at the very least they will accept Bitcoin in the online apple store at one time. It may be in a few years.
