in my opinion not everything what you say is true, there are people who are happy with the decline in the price of bitcoin because it is their time to buy as much as possible, because they know that in 2018 yesterday was the right time to buy and then save it for some time. so I don't agree with you about this.

Worst year for those who are panicking but for those who are still optimistic, for i know they have bought more top coins that time and because of that they earned already right now. One reason for me personally is the things that I have know that year that I didn't know before like online gambling is really a thing. The year 2018 taught me a valuable lesson in financing my resources, especially when it comes to consistency and patience. I am quite guilty, as the last quarter of 2018 made me lazy due to the bearish slump that it experienced. I stoped participating into campaign signatures and withdrew all my bitcoins to convert it to cash.

As it approached the year 2019, I realized that cryptocurrencies are starting to become more valuable as time passes by. I missed dozens of opportunities to yield high profit margins just because I stopped following it.

In the long run, Bitcoin will grow in any case and will reach 100 thousand dollars in the next couple of years. And all the envious and skeptics will be left behind, as the patient and visionary wins!

Almost everytime the result is the same when people try to pull down one thing for their own to grow. Nature will find a way to pay the evils doers what they deserve. 2018 price drop was partly manipulation and partly price drop as a result of whales selling and people panic selling. Well i agree with your points from 2 to 4 but holding isn't really a bad policy. 2018 taught us that you can't put into the market money you can't afford to hold for a long time or suffer big losses. Holding for probably a year or two more can get you back to another all time high value. The question is, can you hold for that long? Don't risk money you can't afford to lose or keep stagnant, that's a good lesson a lot of people learned.

2018 has been one of the worst years if not the worst in the crypto industry. We had so many ups and downs but we are still around and looking forward to making it happen once again as it has always been. But amidst fhe turbulence that occurred there's still one thing I'm happy for, and that's some "psychopaths" failed their mission.

We all thought we had reach a bottom around 6K until some few people decided to ruin everything for all of us. Gladly, their mission failed (well, for now) and I'm really happy for that. I hope the same happens to anyone who tries to ruin Bitcoin's price furthermore.

Now Bitmain has layed off workers, boycotted plans to launch a subsidiary at a new country and having leadership troubles and oh, people aren't purchasing their mining rigs as before. Their best solution was to help find a way to pump Bitcoin but they ruined it.

If you have a product, start something and don't try to kill Bitcoin because ultimately you'll end up with undervalued coins.

That's the perspective that I have removed to myself that makes me bring thankful to 2018. I also though before online gambling, you will just lose to it and it will brough no entertainment that was telling by my friends. In 2018, my friends introduce me to this gaming site, at first I am hesitant,but when I try it, my perspective began to change because of the entertainment that it bring to me similar to physical gambling. i have never recorded much success in the blockchain space as i did in the first quarter of 2018. all of the jobs i did for loads of projects happened to make their payments during the first quarter of 2018 and also the prices were quickly appreciating and sold off in good profit before the bearish market took its toll.
