Statement from the artist: “Mining is at the crossroads of the natural world and the built environment. Mines are where we source all of our raw materials for everything humans have built on this planet. Digital mining is at a new crossroads with unknown possibilities. I think mining is an excellent metaphor for generating alternative economies and one that can help us make sense of more abstract algorithms and networks. As the world becomes increasingly complex and difficult to understand, it is critical that we plan for and design the future we want. I am interested in a future of self-replicating and evolving architecture that mines it’s own materials and disposes of it’s own waste. Visualizing possibilities gives us ideas that we can combine, embrace or reject, helping guide the development of future societies.”

Lobster (potentially immortal)
Rhino (uncertainty)

Off in the distance I like to imagine dwellings where these creatures live and protect their savings/earnings.

Nicely done..Thankyou Wink

The root problem with conventional currency is all the trust that's required to make it work. The central bank must be trusted not to debase the currency, but the history of fiat currencies is full of breaches of that trust. Banks must be trusted to hold our money and transfer it electronically, but they lend it out in waves of credit bubbles with barely a fraction in reserve. We have to trust them with our privacy, trust them not to let identity thieves drain our accounts.” Satoshi Nakamoto

Great work. I think the only thing you're missing is the Atmospheric Escape with embedded Moon Coin.

I didn't add it on purpose to prevent the OP from becoming too big. I agree that it should be mentioned so I've added a sidenode below the Atmospheric Escape print. All other original artworks have been auctioned too. I'll see if I can track down all dates + prices.

Good job!

Great addition, added!

EDIT: Added all known auctions to the Artwork section + added all known errors to the Coins section.

@TheNewAnon135246, cool of you to spend the time on this  Cool

THANK YOU.

Thank you for making these beautiful pieces. Is there anything missing from the list? Perhaps you could share the winning bid on the Soul of Satoshi painting + 2016 Kialara Signature Series -  Soul of Satoshi #001? The eBay link you emailed earlier appears to be offline.

Thanks for collecting this valuable information, it is even more detailed than the Kialara website itself. This type of thread is very much appreciated. I congratulate you on the work of the buyer.  Wink

Is there anything missing from the list?

I've heard whispers of 12 Artist Proof Bars but there is very little known about them. Perhaps Kialara can share some info and/or images.

I believe someone on this forum was given one, so if they're lurking please share with us these secret treasures.

I am not a Kialara collector myself, however I am wondering which of the pieces that is most desirable for you collectors?
If I should guess then Thug Life or 1 BTC Gold (based on some crazy auctions in the past).

Cryptography is one of the few things you can truly trust

For me definitely the Thug Life note, since that is the only piece missing from my collection Grin.

The 1 BTC Gold is definitely one of my favourites but the new Hydra series also looks absolutely stunning.
