Hello all,

Recently Ethereum Classic did a scam.
Now, kindly help to review an upcoming hardfork of the Wave called WavesX, they have an anonymous team, they will be migrating to their own plartform still under development.

Bitcointalk Ann thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5091265.0

Bounty Ann thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5091272.0

This is just to clear any possible doubt, am equally wondering why a harkfork will be running a bounty.
They promise 1:5

Regards.

Almost a hundred % scam. There were users asking the team why they stay Anon. Compare to the original WAVES, sasha is open to all. We all know he travels back and forth everywhere he may be using the funds or not but at least we know the project is doing well.  WE don't have any idea of this WAVESX

I don't know whether the bounty manager is the same or not and I also don't say that wavesx is a scam because I still don't know full. but the rules are generally the same.

I just asked the Wave Telegram Platform group and the admin there said it was fake

They say that you need to enter your secret phrase in their wallet to get tokens.

AFAIK, legitimate forks will also require you to put your private key to claims their tokens on their wallet (if you don't use exchange to handle the fork). But scam forks will require you to put your private key upfront, before they even begin their distribution. Also, you need to make sure that there is no malicious code on the wallet where it is possible for the team to get your private key when you use it.

ETCV use the exact strategy, require people to put or use their wallet where they can record/know their private key when they connect it to the network IIRC.
