Hey, wanted to open a discussion about this. Would you bet or play in a website which is not a casino? but only a platform that creates the games for you?
I thought about creating a Crowd Funded Bitcoin lottery platform app, where the app doesn't participate in the lottery, It just takes a small fee from the total prize.
So for example a pool for 1 BTC. john bets 0.6 and george bets 0.4, so the odds of winning are splitted 60% and 40% this goes for fixed prize pools, which can take a long time to fill up and so players will not stay.
but what about dynamic ones? how can you make a player bet if he doesn't know his chances of winning? would you bet if you knew your minimum chance of winning? e.g. the maximum prize is 1 BTC, and you bet 0.1 BTC so your minimum change of winning is 10%. if the maximum price isn't collected after X time, the draw happens anyway and your chances to win are higher. When I think about it, people want to play fast, and have results fast, so collecting the funds from the players can take time until a pool is filled, but maybe it can work with small pools or time limited pools.
Any thoughts? Thanks.
