I only get paid in my local fiat in my country.
But in the event the government of the day in it's opinion feels it's best that employers are paid using bitcoin, then measures should be put in place to balance up , in situations where after one gets paid, the price of bitcoin tanks.
Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

I guess some companies already pay cryptocurrencies as salary for their employee. But, I guess there are some problem if they continue on paying cryptocurrency because we all know it is volatile and very unstable. So its better to find a job that will pay fiat currency.

What part is needed to be rephrased?i believe that OP had clearly delivered what he wanted to know or maybe its just you who cant understand the way of questioning

OP is asking if there are employees here whos being Paid by cryptocurrency instead of Fiat, and what the main concern is if the Volatility of this currencies affecting the both parties either the management who bought crypto.or the employee who received the coins because specially in this grow and fall market

I'm not getting my salary paid in Bitcoin but I know some people who do. But they don't get entire amount paid in Bitcoin but combined with fiat money. To my opinion that is much better than to be paid entirely in Bitcoin, this is still too risky.
Personally I wouldn't like to be paid in Bitcoin because of volatility. I like my salary in fiat and Bitcoin is additional income that might vary from month to month.

Well unfortunately in my country the government doesn't accept payments in BTC so i didn't hear about salaries that are paid in crypto, but that doesn't mean that don't exist.Actually i think that will be a huge evolution for BTC.But who knows maybe in the future we will hear more often about payments made with BTC.

it seems you need to invite someone from Japan to discuss this. because there have been many companies that pay employees using bitcoin.

How do your employers buy it?
Have there been scenarios where after they purchased the agreed amount the value increased/decreased substantially before you were paid? If so, how did they react to this?
My friend accepted ETH payment for fiverr and upwork job if i know this is breaking the rules and regulations those platform. He received 4 ETH when value was 1/88$  than after few days eth going to 100% increased. I think as like there are many client offering cryptocurrency payment.

It will be purely depending on the country. But I'm not seeing any difficulties for this because many reputed services are available almost for all the countries but we must need to clear KYC at very first hand. I believe the decisions of paying their employees in BTC alone must be a big thing here and definitely not the process of how they are going to buy it.

Have there been scenarios where after they purchased the agreed amount the value increased/decreased substantially before you were paid? If so, how did they react to this?
Buying bitcoins and then paying to employees instantly is possible to overcome the bitcoin fluctuations. This is how many merchants are doing against fluctuations to protect their profits. People must work on avoiding delays while holding bitcoins otherwise they may see extra dollars or shortage of dollars kind of incidents happening.

I think people who receive paid crypto usually work on an ICO project. So the payment they receive is the result of the success of the project. And the cost of crypto payments depends on the percentage of success of the project. But if the project fails they get paid not according to the agreement and poeple work on that will accept the payment even small.

I don't think no one is getting paid for Bitcoin in normal job because cryptocurrencies are not evolved in the offline market because of lots of people think we can will not be stable for long time that's why cryptocurrency salary will not be executed by lots of job opportunity people will unclear with the doubt but in future it can definitely be acceptable by all the people.

all users that works in this forum are being paid by a crypto.  the feeling is good when the market is healthy but when it dumps we also feel a bit disapointed because we loose its value . in the actual world , most of us didnt experienced to paid in crypto because it isnt been implemented yet due to unstableness   .  its either the company  can save or loose more   .

for me i would prefer to be paid by a usd rate but only if the payout is good enough  . if not then i would be willing to accept crypto payment because theres always a chance that i can double or even triple my salary  .

I know you're looking for positive answers to the question here, i.e., the experience of individuals who get paid in crypto, but my guess is that there aren't a lot of them.

I've been in various signature campaigns for years now and thus I actually do get paid weekly in bitcoin and have for a while.  When you get paid a fixed amount of bitcoin, it can absolutely suck because of the volatility.  I don't know why anyone would want to get paid in crypto for a real-life job.  Even if you got paid based on a fiat amount, there's still the very real chance that the price of bitcoin (or whatever altcoin) could drop before you could spend it--and if you end up converting it to fiat instead of spending it (like for rent, utilities, etc.), then what's the point anyway?

Bitcoin is going to have to get a lot more stable before it can act as a replacement for cash and be acceptable as a way to pay employees.  Not only that, but cash is accepted everywhere.  Bitcoin isn't, and altcoins are accepted by even fewer merchants.  We're a loooong way away from achieving mass adoption.

Being paid salary in bitcoin now is not advisable because the bitcoin is highly volatile and one can easily not earn much. The value changes drastically that one salary can go down the drain in a matter of seconds. It is better if one study the market situation and them invest

There many companies that pay in Cryptos. I had been trading since years seeing my trades one of my friends offered me a contract that if I trade for him he will share 50% of the profit with. Suppose that I earned 0.2BTC then 0.1 is mine.

I felt it a fair contract where he will arrange for funds to trade, I will trade and profits are shared equally. I agreed to the contract and have my bots running on this funds. Whatever profit is earned from this contract is just an extra income for me which I use for my arbitrage.

I highly doubt anyone receives their salary in cryptocurrency, maybe in Japan, but clearly not in Europe or US.

There's a lot of companies who work in the crypto space like crypto payment processors and exchanges and these companies are often giving people a choice if they want all their money in fiat or some of them in cryptocurrencies. It's not common thing but it's always a start.

Wow you are so lucky person dear and I never got through such nice situation to get my salary as crypto. It’s all about the place you are living in if you are welcomed by a specific campaign to be paid as crypto then don’t lose the chance to get in. It’s modren age earn as much as you can and keep something against bad days that can come any time.
