Wow you are so lucky person dear and I never got through such nice situation to get my salary as crypto. It’s all about the place you are living in if you are welcomed by a specific campaign to be paid as crypto then don’t lose the chance to get in. It’s modren age earn as much as you can and keep something against bad days that can come any time.

i can buy it from the online black market ! its much easier and faster Smiley

How do your employers buy it?
Have there been scenarios where after they purchased the agreed amount the value increased/decreased substantially before you were paid? If so, how did they react to this?
In here in my country there are no salaries with crypto, even local exchanger pay their employer with fiat. Maybe for country that already make it legal, it is possible to do. But if not legal yet i don't think it can happen.

I am not getting paid in Bitcoin myself, but I know of someone that are getting paid in Crypto currency every week. This guy made an arrangement with his employer to pay 90% of his salary in Fiat and the remaining 10% in Bitcoin. He did this, because that was the potion of his Fiat salary that he used to buy bitcoins every month and now the employer is doing it for him.

They transfer the bitcoins into a Bitcoin address he gave to them, but I do not know how they buy and when they transfer the coins to his address.  Tongue
This is actually great strategy, maybe only workable. To get your whole salary in crypto would be stupid because of unstable price. I would accept this kind of agreement, always increasing my bitcoin stash, leaving  enough of the salary for basic life needs.

It's okay paid salary in crypto currency but not the bitcoin base rate it's base on the dollar conversion, examplle  1usd is equivalent of 0.001 or whatsoever if you means in office job as a labor.

How do your employers buy it?
It doesn't matter where your employer buys it.

Have there been scenarios where after they purchased the agreed amount the value increased/decreased substantially before you were paid? If so, how did they react to this?
First of all, you can make an agreement to this whether it is fixed via USD or via BTC amount.

This question is nothing similar to the signature campaigns and it is easier to understand if you look at each thread of signature campaign in the Services section.

I highly doubt anyone receives their salary in cryptocurrency, maybe in Japan, but clearly not in Europe or US.

All of the bitcointalk employees get paid in BTC...

It would be very difficult to meet a company that pays Bitcoin as a salary. And also this is too risky because the price of Bitcoin can go up and down anytime. Therefore, Bitcoin salaries are mostly only given to freelancers, or bounty hunters.

I have a salary in cryptos and is almost the same.I have seen how the value increased and decreased in different times and feels great when it goes up, but not too good when it crash. Is our decision if keep the money in cryptos or change it to our local coin, and when i got a payment i changed it to local coin just to avoid the risk about the price crash.

For the past 2 years Iam and 5 other employees have been paid using Bitcoin, but the standard of payment refers to Fiat, 2 people $ 300 in BTC, 2 people $ 650 in BTC, 1 person in $900 in BTC and the last $ 1100. Every month my boss must convert our salary to bitcoin, so the BTC salary we receive every month is never the same, depending on the exchange rate at the market at that time. Honestly I feel happy even though there are not too many, I don't know with my other friends, but it seems they are fine. Don't ask what our job, because my boss active in this forum, hopefully he doesn't read this thread  Grin Grin

You can receive your salary in Bitcoin through BitWage.

BitWage is giving you a USD receiving account, after 1 day from receiving the money, they will give you Bitcoin, or whatever you want to receive (Bitcoin, USD, Euros, etc) in your account in every country of the world.

register at BitWage through as my referral, you and I will receive 5 dollars  https://www.bitwage.com/referral/1CLQ6M9M3C3L
finally there is a platform which bridges this. actually I have ever think about a platform like that. where a third party will automatically convert your salary to crypto. and with your company pays funds (your salary) to that third party. but the waiting time seems too long, isnt it ? because you can get less than that salary. because prices could very fluctuate within just one day..

I don't know such person whose payment is in bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency but I would like to know how many people accept to have their peyment in BTC. Also, almost all of employers would prefer this at this challenging time to predict the price of bitcoin.

Personally I think that's a bad idea and there are a few reasons to belive that.
maybe this is a little different, but I support several cryptocurrency projects to get cryptocurrency salaries. well, it feels pretty good, but it's not certain. sometimes the amount given is quite large, but sometimes it becomes useless. but, the disadvantage in this problem is that your work is not paid, but the work is quite easy for those who are also hobbies in their fields.

I think it's a bad idea to accept bitcoin or any crypto as salary, crypto value is very fluctuative and some coin value can drop extremely, how can people manage their finance if the price keep on fluctuating, for daily usage we need the stable currency so we can plan every expense

Been an employee in the space for a little while, used to get paid in Ethereum and as a rule of thumb, I would always sell everything straight away in order not to be tempted to hodl.
