Is Chainlink (LINK) a good investment?

I think Chainlink has very good potential and their platform is also widely used and has a lot of developments so I am sure that Chainlink can have a very high selling value in the future, if you are still doubtful then you can buy and after that save it so you can enjoy profit when prices go up.

Chain-link is one of the projects that has been mentioned frequently in the forum for a very long time, and I think from my observation of it based on people’s opinion and reviews, it is a very good coin that is worth mentioning. I have once read their whitepaper and it was really impressive, but I was waiting for the time they will stay long a little in the market to be sure that they are performing accordingly and I think they are really performing.

I am already planning to also have some investment in chain-link also when I have the cash at hand so that when the altcoins are out of the bear market, I can be among chain-link communities that will be happy that they ever took the decision to invest on the project when they had the chance to do so.

Well, this year the development of Chainlink prices is really impressive, even quite a lot of markets have received it. the increase is quite good, from the price of $ 0.29 since the beginning of the year and has grown to $ 2.62 to the present. I am pretty sure that investors since 2017 are very happy to see the current developments.

Regarding good investment or not, I think we have a separate opinion. in social media, this project is still very active, and quite convincing. I can't give further opinion, but this project really has potential when prices recover.

the pattern totally makes sense consider we are not even seeing the correction happened with the chainlink's price. Im leaving link market yesterday as the red candle has already appeared. some altcoins are getting dumped after shorting phase. It looks like another big downtrend will come. This is a good investment but when it comes to the bearish trend and we must go out.

What if he's just trying to instill fear in people and get them to panic sell so it'll get cheaper for him to buy? I would say his call is invalid though. We know how cryptos work. The moment everyone thinks there's no hope,  it goes up and vice versa. Aside from Woolong's view, I feel LINK has reached its peak for now.

How is it overlooked? Chainlink's chart looks healthier than any other crypto currency in the space. It has been doing well consistently while the rest of the space kept losing value against both the USD and BTC.

Also, just because it's doing something right it doesn't need a crazy valuation. It can do all those things just as easily at lower levels. IMHO, people have been front running its potential for quite some time now, but no end is in sight yet.

Hardly anyone talks about this. Instead its about on xrp,tron,eos. All of which are bleeding hard and centralized cryptos as well. The strongest alts are ethereum link and cosmos in that order. Time will prove my comment to be right. I'll check this thread in 2022.

Chainlink is:

1) Completely centralized. 100% premined, and only "selected" people are allowed to run their own node, due to "sybil attacks".
2) Running as a Token, an ERC20 token, which takes absolutely ZERO effort to run, since it's dependent on the Ethereum network, remember crypto kitties? It completely crashed the ethereum network, so please explain how these oracles is supposed to run in the "billions of requests per day"? Lmao

LINK is not a "scam", but it's price right now, is floating on hype. There is ZERO use case for the actual project as of right now, just empty "partnerships" from companies wanting IN on the hype.

Unless they get any new major partnerships soon, or actually show some use cases, it's gonna tank hard.

On the bright side, LINK is trading in green in a very shaky market. Looking at its performance, Chainlink is one of the highest trading cryptos today and it is still improving in the market. Still, I'm not convinced if that is the project I should invest in. I'm following all their updates and so on, but I would really appreciate your opinion on that.

Chainlink (LINK) has already given huge profit to their early investors. The project is good. They have working products. They have a solid community. In terms of trading, they also have the great listing, volume, and so on. I guess this is a good investment but for long term only. Just like the many top coins that have already created huge market cap and returns or growth it is harder for them to grow x2 unlike when they were still cheaper.

I always see him becoming the top 4 best ERC20 tokens https://etherscan.io/tokens, I haven't seen what the latest came from their project, if I see the amount of supply they look terrible to me, but it's all back to you, me don't invest in that token, if it makes you believe that it's the best investment, you should review this project again

Devs own a HUGE part of the supply, which they will sell/give to corporations. Pretty much centralized, and frankly, that's not a good thing. Besides, an ERC20 tokens has it's limitations, scaling issues is MAJOR on Ethereum.
They should of have launched their mainnet on their OWN blockchain, but didn't.. I wonder why....

Blocknet has 100x the upside potential, and is decentralized. That's where I'm putting my money, even if it's "risky".

I don't really know the portion of token which the Link devs hold but if he does hold 40-50% part of the token that's totally an act of centralization. However, it too early to decide a project like has limitation since they don't have a roadmap and the project that offers them the smart contract is doing some system upgrading these days.

Blocknet has 100x the upside potential, and is decentralized. That's where I'm putting my money, even if it's "risky".

Glad you know either that invest your fund in blocknet seems risky because the flourish state of a crypto project can not be measure through the project concept and Link still have more support than blocknet.

This still doesn't matter unless adoption gets very high. Competition isn't a problem, it would be a blessing for many crypto projects actually. Many many many of us have to be USING any of these to make it worth anything. Supply/demand. Go figure.

I think it is good choice, i see that Chainlink has good news today as Fantom selects Chainlink as the official oracle solution recommended for use by all Fantom developers!
