The situation is very difficult because we are after many months of price drops. In my opinion, the fact that the market is boring is much better than the next panic sell. Unfortunately, it looks like the rises will not come too soon, so you just have to get used to it and accept that for a long time you will be bored.

I think the market is not only boring but also frightening if we compare it to 2017, now it's boring but with time moving forward I think there is still a possibility to grow, and even though it takes a long time I will try to be patient.

Perhaps the simplest solution is that don't invest if you think that the market is boring. The OP mentioned lots of reasons in the beginning and it has some truth in it. So for me the best and logical solution is not to invest and wait till everything has settled down, or least some resemblance of a recovery.

My personal advice is to stay away from those clowns who always make price predictions. Those dumbass really don't know what the prices are and just selling the news. The key to reverse this dilemma is none other than the word "working effeciently" on those cryptos.

Well, isn't the market being boring equal to "everything has settled down"?

People here mostly complain about prices being stuck in a tight range (which they consider as boring), and if you ask me, it is the exact environment which we can call as settled down. When prices start jumping like hell (as this is what people are waiting for), this environment will become troubled, i.e. unsettled. The catch is that we don't know in which direction the prices will start to move, so investing in such circumstances is like playing Russian roulette. Do you want to play a round or two?

Well for myself, i don't think panic has set in. 2018 has beaten holders black and blue that some.of us have gotten used to the bear market, me included. I mean bring it on, it can only get better from here even if we drop a little more. Mcafee is a psycho gave me a little chuckle though 😁

indeed . the quarter 1 has not yet ended and is normal to not see any major events because this is still too early  .  basically the quarter 3 or quarter 4 of every year has got the mainstream happenings  .  the guy above me is right  .  we must not feel bored of waiting but instead we must act snappy and use this oppurtunity to buy and hoard more coins so that when the quarter 3 and 4 comes  , all you gotta do is sell  . while most users are still panic buying in order for them to catch up .

I don't think so. There are a lot of upcoming event in this year that could cause flactuation in the market which is exciting for crypto traders and investors. We can see this year that there are also a lot of banks that are now using Blockchain for transactions. This means that more people will use cryptocurrency thus will result to great market movement.

there is nothing boring about the market actually. we are in another stable phase which means boring for you if you were day trading bitcoin since there isn't that much profit to make anymore but not boring for those who are accumulating, mainly whales.
as for traders that are in the whole market not just bitcoin, we are seeing a lot of altcoin pumps in the past month with huge amounts of profit which means they are not sitting around bored out of their minds, instead they are pumping shitcoins to make profit before bitcoin starts launching to the moon.

That is right, the market still moving to a good way, I see that the market can increase higher in the short or long-term, but we need to steady and wait for it's happening. So far it does not look boring already.

The market seems to stabilize and price is going uptrend although we have not seen a major pump.

Not all are panic because some people did not invest in bitcoin they are only doing bounty,but those investors who bought bitcoin in 2017 is definitely panic right now and they are always still hoping of bitcoin price will increase,and the only thing we need to do now is to wait and increase our patience and don't expect too much  about bitcoin because we cannot predict it's price due to its volatility.
