I'm not super active in the collectibles. I grab what i can.

My opinion is whatever you decide is fine with me as it's your auction.  (Not to mention the item is outside my realm)

Having been a wallflower here for a bit i know people tend to drop the formality from time to time when it comes to bidding but it can cause issues.

Perhaps update OP to state a valid bid format to prevent this and what appears to be a second correction.

Yeah communication has become spotty at best. I can say that killyou72 has been online at least twice since minerjones made his comment on the 15th. Once 12 hours later and then again on the 21st of February, as noticed when checking their profile.

The last communication I received from them was on Feb 7, when I inquired about the expected date of delivery/shipping details. The information that was relayed was that they had become busy, and that "mj" was going to reship for them. I then reached out to minerjones to first see if they were the referenced "mj" on the 14th, minerjones was unaware of any arrangment being made, and that brings us to the last week.


I just wanted to keep all interested parties in the loop here. I understand life can get in the way so I'm holding off on any judgement for the time being. Mostly because this isn't time sensitive, it's just inconvenient to wait and be out of the loop information wise.

Hoping we can get some info soon.

You'd rather support someone who starts an auction for his joke of a coin collection because hes been a funny/interesting guy in the past... someone who has been in contact with minerjones and arranged an alternate shipping method ( I assume it was to mail all to MJ and he divvy out the coins as per auction wins ) but hasn't happened. ( also could have told MJ about illness/family problems but failed to mention anything wrong )

Show some support to the few names that we don't see in collectibles as much, maybe this was the beginning of it all, to get them hooked into our physical coin collecting. Starts with some silver, ends with some Casascius/Kialaras/Lealanas.

You'd rather support someone who starts an auction for his joke of a coin collection because hes been a funny/interesting guy in the past... someone who has been in contact with minerjones and arranged an alternate shipping method ( I assume it was to mail all to MJ and he divvy out the coins as per auction wins ) but hasn't happened. ( also could have told MJ about illness/family problems but failed to mention anything wrong )

Show some support to the few names that we don't see in collectibles as much, maybe this was the beginning of it all, to get them hooked into our physical coin collecting. Starts with some silver, ends with some Casascius/Kialaras/Lealanas.

The main thing that gets me is killyou72 was so fast to toss up a payment address, then empty that wallet. These guys paid him. Should they have used escrow? Yes. But that does not excuse the actions of killyou72. In this case I believe an escrow would already be sending funds back to the bidders/winners.

I agree, dropping red trust now, I was waiting for this to play out but doesn't seem to be a good ending.  Killyou, ship the coins man, everyone here has paid. 

Worse comes to worse red tags can be removed. If he did indeed pull an exit scam this makes it so his account can not be sold as a cherry on top.

Wallet was emptied without hesitation. I can understand that sometimes we can run in to the problems. BUt if there is enough time to empty wallet there should be enough time to write a simple post.

Leaving negative feedback is our right and if i feel this situation was bad enough to leave negative it will stay that way.

If we didn't do what we did in the thread till now nobody would even care to let us know whats the deal.
I am tired of constant excused of people. If this guy choose to auction coins and was keeping an eye on this thread for so long he should finish it the same way we all finished it by sending btc when he posted wallet. Simple as that.

Perhaps they made poor choices in posting to a Ban Appeal thread as opposed to communication with people they have an agreement with. That bothered me and is why I felt it necessary to leave Negative Feedback. That doesn't mean it's staying forever, I clearly stated it will be changed once the terms of the auction are met. I also feel this would have been better again as a message from OP.

"Hey everyone sorry but I have some personal stuff to deal with at the moment, It's going to be 6-8 weeks before I can address this. If you want a refund let me know"

Glad to see someone has tracking info. I would say anyone who partook in the auction and is choosing to wait on the items falls into the "having of business" to prove the shipment. The town to and from really means nothing, could be PO boxes or drop ship locations, who's to say.

However for now it's good enough that you are verifying the shipment to have been sent. I'll wait to hear from MJ, in case they need my shipping info... which was sent to killyou72 when they were shipping the item.
