in my opinion riple can't beat bitcoin, btc has been in years and until now no one has surpassed it, eth lost to xrp because xrp coin is centralized

XRP might have defeated ETH but it would never defeat Bitcoin. Let's not forget that bitcoin has over 50% dominance over the crypto market basically most altcoins react to the rise in bitcoin. So i don't really see how Ripple would overthrow Bitcoin.

No, and in my opinion it can't be compared. if you compare centralized Ripple, then you will know why it cannot be compared and how bitcoin can never be defeated in terms of trends and market capitalization

I doubt that XRP can able to defeat Ethereum, even bitcoin. How come that a centralized can defeat decentralized based system? We all know that won't happen at all, XRP obviously controlled and manipulated by the whale investors of XRP. In short, there is chance for me that XRP can defeat Bitcoin and ethereum. |

No way XRP can defeat Bitcoin, it's really far bro. In my opinion XRP will never defeat Bitcoin, even other popular altcoins like bitcoin cash is also can't.
XRP is good actually but it's not always about to defeat bitcoin or replace bitcoin. XRP is good on their own way and XRP has a potential to become more bigger.

That really didn't make sense to me, maybe before defeating BTC it had to beat ETH who finished 2nd.
to be able to occupy the 2nd position may be difficult for the XRP let alone defeat BTC.

Not really, although XRP charges less fee than BTC, most people will still prefer BTC as it's the first ever coin that was created in cryptocurrency. No one can beat the pioneer of the cryptocurrency. |

I think there is a chance that XRP can hit number one in market cap. It depends a lot on adoption by banks. But it's by no means inconceivable. XRP is likely going to be the first crypto to achieve proper mainstream adoption for its particular use case.
But even if it does hit number one, that doesn't mean BTC will be irrelevant or defeated. Crypto now covers a wide range of coins with a wide range of purposes, it's not winner-takes-all.

Possibly it can, but how many more years is there. XRP has also experienced a downturn, but because of the community and developers who are compact and have a future view of the coin to fruition. whatever the coins if the community and compact developers will happen like that (success) |

I mean, technically there's a chance(non-zero chance), but I really don't see it happening. Bitcoin is simply just superior in any category in my opinion(XRP probably just has more Twitter spambots 🤷♀️). If XRP was to defeat BTC in terms of marketcap? That's the day we know that the cryptocurrency community has gone full bonkers.
I wonder how XRP or ripple will going to defeat or withstand what bitcoin's legacy has done to the market. I think the only way they can keep ahead is about their market volume circulating in the market, but considering the fact that this market volume is not really competitive as its market price is way lower than what bitcoin has. |

But in the sense of the Market Capitalization its highly possible if the Ripple XRP price can surpass $3 dollars But if not it has no chance to defeat Bitcoin. |

honestly I'm not sure with centralized coins (XRP) especially to defeat bitcoin, that's very unlikely. I heard some information that XRP is not an ideal coin for a bank company at the moment, they have been discarded and replaced with other altcoins that are really worthy other than XRP.

Obvioulsy no it never can't , I don't see any reason why it should defeat BTC and probably won't see in future, bitcoin is too strong and capitalization is too hight. Imho ripple just a hamster's dream that never came true.

Fully agree with you XRP will never come close to bitcoin.Now even some banks that had previously signed an agreement on its use are rejecting it. |
