LOL. Yeah right. Even with mass adoption XRP price isn't going to be close to that level. Forgetting the fact that XRP token has no utility in most of ripple's framework, it still won't happen. Most anyone should realistically hope for is $10 and even that's highly unlikely with this year expected to show slow or no growth.

After typing all this I realized the article says end of 2018 which was even more humorous. Given you posted it and it's now 2019 I can only assume you meant to open a discussion as to if that price would be reached by the end of 2019.

Unfortunately I don't think there's any chance whatsoever of XRP hitting that price. I do think that Ripple is a good company, and XRP does have a solid use-case, but for XRP to hit that price it would need a marketcap in double-digit trillions of $.

Yes, end of 2019, but most likely very long term. Don't care, will hold 5 years if I can if we manage to see that price.
