Is there any valid reason to continue gambling?

Gambling should be banned in every country to save people from this dangerous game.

if it will be banned then things will get worse.

People will start searching for illegal methods of betting and this has a bigger negative effect in people's life. And apart from that, countries make a lot of money from the casinos around the world as they earn a lot of taxes from them. As the title itself, I’m thinking about the valid reason why gamblers continue to gamble even if they are losing a lot of money. Is it hard to understand that gambling will just make your money lose if you still continue?

So many addiction stories, people shares their losing experience and yet you are still gambling. The more you play the bigger the chance to lose the money. What is your reason to continue? Are you willing to chase your loses despite of the risk?

As for the title of your post, yes, there is a valid reason to continue gambling not for being addicted to it but for leisure. Of course everyone of us needs something to release our stress from the daily grind of our lives, so having spare time to gamble is a good idea. Just remember that doing gambling is not for earning but for leisure and to kill your boredoms.

Lol totally right there. The owners are not so called "addicts". They will act like they are addicts in front of their players because that will increase the PR of the site. In reality they are running a very profitable business not the players. Yes, a different reason why we continue playing but I think there will be one result and for sure we will just lose money. This is greed and addiction, if you gamble for fun then you can be consider as addict on that game and if you do it for money, greed takes over you.

I think the only the reason why people continue to play gambling even though they losing is just because they want to get back all of their losses. But they didn't know, there will be only low chance to get it back. Yet, it is all about luck and so if you don't possesed any of it then I could say you just wasting your time and your money.

As long as your first or consecutive wins equals to your initial deposit you should take your capital before proceeding. This is the best practice that every gambler must do. If you will gamble most of your profit including your capital, you will not have any reason to continue because you are left with nothing. But if you will take the capital and you will gamble with the profit, you have a reason to continue but don't think only of it, think also that there should be a reason to stop.

Yes, most gambler will gamble more once they won. Probably they think that they are in their lucky time so they continue gambling even with bigger bet. Of course the result can be both win more and/or lose it all depends on their luck. We may have a plan/dream if we win big in gambling but we should not force ourselves to achieve the dream (lets say buy a house as you say) by gambling more and more.
Gambling responsibly is the main important thing.
