No, you can't compared the downfalls before than of today. Those failures in the past year is totally different from what the cause we have now. I believe that this year we might experience big days but not to like in 2017 ATH. Not to expect more but will do hope that the wind will changes its direction and it could be in favor with us.

Because in 2017 price changes rose very high. it will be difficult to re-occur and exceed if there are not many supporting factors. in 2017 there was a lot of positive news that made the market strongly believe. whereas this year the SEC still rejected bitcoin ETFs. and there is no other good news coming. but we don't know yet what will happen, lets wait and see

Judging with this early quarter seems to be very difficult especially we don't see any potential movement that may give us a sign of possibilities. Its just speculations anyway so i guess its the year where altcoins will bloom and a lot of useful projects were created. The market will possibly become okay on the start of the second half of the year. in my opinion, everything that happens today in the cryptocurrency market is due to the fault of manipulators, big whales. First of all, they think about their enrichment and do not think that this negatively affects the entire cryptocurrency market and the development of many interesting new projects.
