Anyone, anywhere, anytime?
What would you have to do if you want to give cryptocurrency to your grandparents, barber, or waitress?  Assuming they are not too into tech and do not have a cryptocurrency wallet or address already.  Even if they are interested in receiving it, it will take some time to explain and help to get them set up and receive.  

One of the barriers to mass adoption is the fast and easy onboarding of new users, and it is one of the problems Note Blockchain solves with a novel solution and an easy to navigate mobile interface.  With the Note wallet app, you can generate a Note certificate that will allow the other party to scan a QR code to download the app and scan the other QR code to claim the Notes you put on the certificate.  And they don’t have to do it right then and there, they can do it any time before expiration date of the Note, which is set by the giver (default is a month after generating certificate).  The Note certificate can be sent as a .jpg file on SMS, email, chat apps, or posted online for your friends, family, and followers to grab.  You can even print out a few Notes and physically hand it to people you meet as you go about your day.  That’s cryptocurrency for anyone, anywhere, anytime.  

There is also a traditional web wallet interface for experienced crypto users, that lets users set up generate multiple wallets, and print out paper wallets for cold storage and added security.  The web wallets and mobile wallets can send transactions to each other via either the public address or QR code, but are otherwise independent and are not linked by phone number, wallet address, user name, etc.  Meaning the web wallet interface cannot gain access to accounts that were set up using the mobile app, and mobile app cannot gain access to web wallet addresses.  


Philosophy:
Note is built with the belief that blockchain is the future of money.  As have been repeated many times by many people, the key is adoption.  There have been many challenges over the decade since bitcoin has been released, and there are many promising blockchains with amazing features and functions, but if only the tech elites are using it, the potential of blockchain will not be realized.  

Note Blockchain is solving the problem from the other direction.  By using a basic blockchain and a very easy to understand and use interface, and by giving users an easy and fun way to give and receive Notes.  Once we get a sustainable user base, more features will be implemented.  There is a (for lack of a better term) “killer app” we want to implement, but we first must break out of the catch 22 of adoption.

You can mine Notes by following the instructions on the website, and there will be lots of giveaways on Twitter for the first month or two.

Although Notes will eventually be sold to fund further development and operations, we want to focus on the user experience without the distraction of pricing, for at least a little while.

Starting second development cycle, which will include the following features for the mobile app:

-Print multiple Notes at once
   From print Notes screen, have pull down option to select number of Notes to print, default is 1.
   Max set at 20, for now.
   For each Note printed is an exact copy of the first Note.

-Print Notes that can be claimed by more than 1 person
   From print Notes screen, have an option to print a multiple claim Note:
   Once selected, interface has option to choose number of times Note can be claimed, and total amount, max claim set to 100 for now.
   Calculate and display amount of each claim, plus estimated fee, then deduct the balance from wallet, including the fee.
   One account can only claim once per Note.

-Contacts list
   Displays a contact's Name, QR, and public wallet address, with send Notes button that automatically takes user to send Notes screen, with the contact's address already filled in.
   Make it easy to add contacts from transactions

-Personal updates (social media timeline like feature)
   A section for social media posting, where users can post text, pictures, or .gif files (no videos yet), see and interact with other user postings.  
   Posts can be liked and tipped, can be replied to with additional posts, single layer or nesting conversations.
   Users can choose several pages: profile, where they can see a chronological list of their own posts, a feed page where they can see posts by people they follow, and a discover page where they can see trending posts
   Two options for discovery algorithm TBD.
   Pictures will either need a size limit, be compressed to a certain size, or both.  And posts will disappear after 24 hours in order to save server resources.

-Like button
   Display like button under the social media posts, one like per account.  Click like button again to undo like.

-Tip Notes button for personal updates
   Display tip button, each tap sends the tip amount to the post creator.
   In settings, allow users to set tip amount (0.01 to 10,000).
   In settings, allow users to require confirmation or not before tip is sent.
   After 1.5 seconds after the last tap, display amount tipped to content creator and deduct from wallet.
   Tips are collated and sent 5 minutes later, one transaction per user tipped (to reduce the number of transactions)

-Emoji support
   Enable emoji for public posts.

-Scan imported pictures (do not need 2 screens)
   Allow app to scan a QR code from photo gallery.

-Locked Notes
   Give user the option to generate a Note that requires a 6 digit PIN to unlock

-Affiliates tab will highlight Note partners
-Repost: just as liking and tipping a post, it will make the post show up on the Friends tab of your followers and contacts even if they do not follow the person that made the original post.  However, it does not count as a new post, nor is it your post, so the tips received will still go to the original poster.  It also extends the life of the post for 24 hours, so it will have more time to get seen and tipped.  The max extension is 24 hours, regardless of the number of reposts.

Looks like -a scryptminerd should be taken out.  Not sure how that got in there, but just copy/paste from the website instructions and only replace the destination address. 

Some antivirus will terminate the .bat operation, so if that still doesn't work, you can try to only run the copy/paste code, and replace the address after knowing it works on your set up.

I started mining with my PC, have not got any block yet. Currently getting around 18Khash/s, mining with 6 threads on my CPU clocked at 4.4 GHz on all cores. The app/web interface is clean and neat. So far, I am liking the project.

That's fair and I'm sure that they will address those concerns.I would like to see a full node/wallet at some point also. In regards to Iphones; IOS development always seems to lag behind android on wallets.
