Although it is in its early phase of development, the approach is pretty interesting. I have tested their android wallet and it seems to be working nicely. I started mining with my PC, have not got any block yet. Currently getting around 18Khash/s, mining with 6 threads on my CPU clocked at 4.4 GHz on all cores. The app/web interface is clean and neat. So far, I am liking the project.

I can report that solo CPU mining is working. I have just found a block  . Good luck.

Not really, I wish I could do their marketing but apparently there was no pre-sale or ICO to fund it. I simply liked the concept and started mining. I already mined more coins than they could offer me in Note for helping in marketing! I will still make tweets for them to spread Note Blockchain since I like this project and already have invested in it. One thing I did not like about it though, the amount kept for the developers. 5B is a staggering figure considering the overall total supply of 55B, but I hope that they will re-evaluate it or seek feedback from the community.

I would like to address a couple of things that were brought up:

-Lack of iOS app: We are working on the iOS app, and will release it ASAP.  The ETA is around mid Feb, but you know how these things can go, we are a very small operation and I can only promise we are doing our best. 

-The amount of coins reserved for devs: We benchmarked several other projects and it seems like 5%-10% is fairly common.  We are on the high side of that range.  But we also funded the MVP without an ICO, so we have more skin in the game so to speak.

I just found this project today, and I have to say, I am really liking the ease of using the app, along with the QR scanning for sending/receiving your coins! Merchants, I think it takes so long to see first merchant for it.
Anyway, it is worthy to wait for the first merchant.

Merchant adoption will primarily depend on the size of the user base.  Also if we happen to grow super fast, that helps, but it's a secondary factor.  Unless it's supernova, then they mostly just care about how many people are using it RIGHT NOW. 

But I hope you gave it a try and you can see for yourself just how easy it is share crypto with your friends and family, instead of having to set up a very complicated wallet with private keys or 24 word phrase and unrecoverable wallets if those are lost.  You can print it like a picture and share few hundred or thousand Notes as incentive, it can be shared any way a picture can, email, text, chat, or even physically print it out.  And all they need to remember for the APP is their password and PIN, something most people are familiar with already. 


We have 3 campaigns running right now so you can get lots of Notes for free.

1. Invite your friends to discord, get 2,000 Notes each.

Hi, we are still less than 2 weeks old and never had an ICO, so we are not on any exchanges.  Just follow @BlockchainNote on Twitter for multiple drops a day, or better yet, our discord community is very active with drops during the day/early evening US hours.  

CPU mining is also still very feasible, even my i3 will get at least few blocks a day.
