It is very good to see that today I am a Jr member. It is a very interesting thing for me. I am now a target member. I'd like to wear a signature now. What should I do now? Waiting for signature campaign or starting a bounty campaign. Which will be beneficial? Many people have told me that bounty campaign does not make any profit.

I started to join in this forum to be a Bounty Hunter. Maybe they all think does not make profit, because not easy to find a good project and predict that ptoject will success and give big profit.

You got six merits, some of them weeks ago.
It is probably that you promoted today when you got enough activity counts. It maybe due to you were lack of active time some days between each two-week timespan.

Challenge yourself more.  Member status is just 4merits away so that isn't much of a challenge if you post right and add quality. Don't let signature space via bounty hunting distract you. If you join one be among the few that don't spam forum just to get post count. Do you have a goal for 2019 already? if you don't go set one here and work towards achieving it.

If you are interested in signature campaigns, don't you have to wait for new campaigns. Because you can participate currently running campaigns. The rewards will be depending on what campaign will you choose. Because there are so many scam projects. Then do your own research to choose good bounty campaigns.

My advice: give priority to taking money of your pocket and buying Bitcoin.
You can take months here in the forum and not win anything, but if you take the money from your pocket and buy bitcoin and Hold, you can make a lot of profit in the future. Of course you should do a lot of research before investing and avoid investing in these scam ICOs and these Shit altcoins. Bitcoin is the best option to invest in the long term

When I joined the forum, I did it during the great hype period, and was genuinely intrigued by all this virtual community world. Being myself rather an anti-social network sort of creature, I took it with an exploratory spirit, wanting to unveil both something about myself, and about what the forum was about and the surrounding mass hype.

Leaving my personal investment side apart, I thought that social tasks required by bounties were strange. One is mostly required to monkey copy/paste messages on to his social networks, and “spread the word” of a normally random ICO.
 
The first thing I noticed is that I had no Telegram, Twitter nor active Facebook (nor other lesser demanded social media channels). The second thought that came to mind was that, had I has those channels in use in my day to day life, why the hell should I be spamming relatives, friends, acquaintances with ICO promotional messages ?, which they :

-   a) would not understand.
-   b) would not appreciate.
-   c) Leave a wrong impression of who I am.
-   d) Get me on their ignore lists (real and virtual).

So the obvious next step was to create a dummy set of social accounts and use those to spam … others, that do exactly the same in turn. Of course, being a sort of experiment, I tried it for just a few social campaigns, and felt like a right twat monkeying my way through the social media channels.

From the ICO’s point of view, you get to spread your word, but likely in a “don’t shout at me because I can’t see you” kind of scenario. That is, people blast out the messages with little understanding on the receiver’s behalf, or interest whatsoever.

From my personal viewpoint, it seemed like a rather demeaning set of tasks, which I followed through to the end on a very reduced subset of occasions. Aside from that, the return on investment (ICO Token) is normally crap so that was it for me after a very brief test run.

Signatures on the other hand are more compelling, since they do not require you to monkey around a retweeted message, nor invade your social circle with spam. What one types in their posts is their own prerogative, and since typing crap is not in my nature, signature campaigns are something I can live with.
I’ve only been on two though: The first one was a fiasco, and although I joined because I thought that the project seemed decent enough and not some bullshit scam, I think I’ve yet to receive the (now rather) worthless token. The second one is the one I currently bear, and no complaint’s there. In between, I stayed off signatures for quite a number of months, since I did not want to be asked to perform a certain amount of posts per week. In addition, this being a hobby for me, and not a means of living (as seems to be for many - bad option in my opinion), helps to have a decent focus on things.

Having said all that, in short, social bounties more often than not do not pay off, neither in terms of tokens nor in personal esteem. Signatures are more compatible with my thought, so long as one does not spam their way through the forum to comply with quotas.

This man ☝ already stated a fact. As for the bounties, you should avoid them, if you'll ask me its better to make a good aim. Don't concentrate on wearing signatures in a short time, but have a more straight thinking on how you can get to a higher rank other than the MEMBER. Just continue on your good work, and let this signatures be a side rewards for your efforts.

Never mimic other Juniors. Avoid Social Media Campaigns/Bounties. It will not bring you anywhere.

There is nothing wrong with trying to earn from the forum, but growing tour account some more would put you in a better position, and you woukd learn a lot more along the way.
Take down the advice already giving on this thread from members who had used it (that advise) successfully.

Actually, Juniors isnt suppose to be participating on bounties or signature campaigns not until they reach the Member Rank. Its for your own good.

Classic pajeets does that kind of thing but as for the OP, I think he has some good points to be considered. And just a little bit more he will reach the next rank.

It shouldn't be hard,should it?, it could be though for users who don't belong here,the thing is the quest for money brought in a whole lot of users and they did not quite take out their time to even understand what the hell they were getting into,and with your activity score,it seems you fall under such category.
You must have to set a target and learn more about cryptocurrency in its wholesome nature,get involved in discussions,read articles and from them make out your own threads without having to copy any word from it.

But when you make posts such as the ones in your posts history,then for sure yes, merits will be hard to come by

Well not by just doing social bounty reports and asking the same question on the wrong board (you asked in Bitcoin Discussion today).

The theory goes that you need to start creating decent enough content in your posts (be it informative, argumentative, witty, novel, controversial,  or whatever). People that have sMerits (not Merits) may spot one of your posts and reward them with merit if they see it fit.

I wouldn’t really go for how the best managed to rank-up ("best" is also a relative concept), since the ones that have managed to earn bags of merits are rather much an exception (not necessarily because they are exceptional people, but because they have stood out from the crowd often enough, bringing something somewhat different to the table, although not necessarily crypto-depth related).

I would focus on other merited poster rather than the top segment to start with really, and see what they post about, the content and depth of their posts and so on (simply browse the forum or use the official merit stats to jump to merited posts, and profiles (but again, don’t focus on the top ones).

If I were to summarize it, if you really want to rank-up (I’m assuming further than being a Jr. Member), it mainly comes down to will, focus, effort and time. If one is here just for the bounties (and you may at the beginning until you realize how boring and belittling they are), then there is no way that person is going to achieve a decent rank nowadays with the merit system.

If on the other hand one enjoys the forum and what goes on in this virtual sub-world, then the focus of mind is different and one posts with the will to bring something to the table and not simply to the personal token wallet value enhanced slightly by the end of the campaign.
 
Having said that, focus on what you are good at, and take time to create your posts, giving them thought and depth, avoid in in general the superficial on-two liners that are empty of content. It is way better to just create one post or two per day, than to go on a spamfest rampage and produce twenty low quality/interest posts. The time you can place into the equation plays an important role in all of this, and may well be rather correlated to ranking-up speed.
 
I would read quite a bit too before posting, to get the idea of things before you start-off on the wrong foot. There are also rules on the forum (see Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ). I didn’t read them until months after joining, and they are pretty much common sense, but it is better to take a look at them anyhow (for example, posting multiple consecutive posts in row in a same thread in a short timespan is normally going to break rule number 32 …).

You only need 4 merits to become a Member rank and not like me who has many activities but only gets 2 merits. And related to what you have to do when choosing bounty campaign and choosing a signature campaign that is paid for with btc, indeed I prefer to be paid with btc. At least when you get bitcoin then you don't need to worry because it certainly has a price, different if you get token, even though you have lots of tokens on your MEW then maybe only a few who has a price.
