I think not. look how it was in 2017, people heard about ICOs where you invest and make profits of 10X or more than 10X and for that reason people bought bitcoin. the news channels were posting opinion of those analysts who made exaggerated forecasts and that delude the people and people bought many bitcoins. was easy to buy bitcoins and with the price increase to $ 20,000, governments and banks began to create barriers to ICOs, bitcoin and altcoins and as a result the price began to fall and people began to panic and started to sell their currencies and get out of that crypto market.

There is nothing to complicate while explaining about the current situation of the market. Right now all that required is the perfect understanding about long term profitability. I'll explain with the chart describing that the market is highly fluctuating and manipulative. None is sure about its pump and dump. Well, we had the whole BCH fork with BTCSV and BTCABC where there was no doubt that there was some manipulation involved to tank the bitcoin price as well as to pump the other shitforks. So yeah, we've see some manipulation taking place in the market, but I think the situation right now is a different story. Right now, there's simply no buying pressure to push the prices up, we're looking at a long period of stagnation until the bulls wake up start pushing the price or there's a fomo inducing event that could attract fresh capital into the ecosystem.

Hey we’re yet in an extended bear phase which unfortunately is showing no signs of ending, however that has not dampened people’s spirit towards buying bitcoins. If you see Bitcoins prices have managed a strong resistance around 3500$, but is struggling to break the levels of 4000$, once it does we may see a slow but steady bull rally. I believe the people you’re referring are called Whales, yes they do have a significant say in the movement of bitcoins prices.

What signs? The only signs is that the market hasn't fallen further. The same thing happened previously around the 6k level and everyone thought it was bullish, then we fell to new lows around 3k.

the market situation at the beginning of this year was very different from the previous expectations, because at the beginning of this year it gave us a surprise like the hacked cryptopia, ETH Fork which in my opinion did not provide a significant price increase, hopefully there will be no bad news until the completion of the Bitcoin ETF

No one can say when the market to recover, but its good to see this market still pumping despite of many negative comments about it all around the media. The situation right now is quiet not the active market, since we are just seeing a small pump with a low volume, but its too early to say this since 2019 was just started. More time to recover for sure.

I think right now, it's not just very good to buy, but it's also very good to sell after we got the coin because if you check at the market after the price reaches the bottom price, it will bounce up, and sometimes the rally comes to reach the higher price. And for bitcoin, I think the price now is on the sideways because the increase or decrease was not too high or too low. But we have altcoin which still moves up and down, and fortunately, there are so many altcoins which we can select.
