antminer T9+ help

Hello i got and antminer T9+
i tried to firmware update it with a custom firmware. I am doing it from WEB and when it says that update success . wait for reboot
i wait and then i can log in , root /root pass is not working .
Then if i remove it from the power and power it up again .it has the original Firmware and the pass root.root working

I also download the latest from Bitmain.com and i have the same problem

any idea ..?

DO i have to change any jumpers for update it?
is there a way to update the firmware throught SSH ?

i have done updates on my L3+ and my D3 ..and was working perfect

Have you tried using a different browser or cleaned the cache to completely be sure about the log-in?

also there is a very high chance the custom fw you trying to flush is a piece of shit " as simple as that" . try another bitmain firmware to see if makes any difference.

Can you try the other firmware "Antminer-T9-PLUS-all-201711242319-autofreq-user-Update2UBI-NF.tar.gz"  you can download this directly from their download page here https://service.bitmain.com/support/download?product=Antminer%20T9%2B

Then let us know if it's working or not.

If still the login page pops up try to reset the miner first to the factory default settings before you flash it again with the firmware. You can follow the guide from here Three Ways to Restore Factory Settings (R4/S9/T9)

yeap i have done this steps. now only step that i havent done is with SD card. but my card reader is faulty and i need to biy a new one on Monday

is there a way to flash with SSH ?

I tried to search on google but it seems SSH flashing doesn't exist.

Have you tried to replace a new Ethernet cable first? and maybe your cable is broken or the ethernet socket full of dust and dirt. Make sure both cable and ethernet socket is clean.

Well, your final solution is the SD card this is the only final solution that may solve this issue.

something extra that i want to add if this help
also when i am upgrading it says that upgrade success very fast
on other videos i saw that it need some seconds

If i press PERFORM RESET  
is doing the same with the password.

also if i press reset button  it doesnt reset.
i have to uplug it  from the power and plug it again

You never answered the browser question.

So first. Are you using

Mac
Windows
Linux

I have found I can not get it to work using any Mac OS with any browser.

On windows 10 I can do updates on chrome.

If you are doing windows 10 and chrome let us know.

3. IP Reporter Restore (The miner will automatically revert to factory default firmware)

This method is only applicable to the miner as below. (The SD card slot of the miner should be on the left of Ethernet interface.

Usage: Please power off the miner, then hold down the IP Reporter and don’t release it. At the same time, please power on the miner. Releasing the IP Reporter after 5 seconds, the machine will automatically restore factory settings.

NOTE: This method is not applicable to the miner which has a SD card on the right of the Ethernet interface.
