Not sure about that, rather than try to consider about that meet up and let's put our main point on the product. I never heard anything about this one related to does this project already finished its product or not. That news can bring a little increase and don't expect a lot from it. |

Lisk is one of those projects who failed to develop and grow in last year. And this was the problem of many new ICO and project. Because of the bear year, they lost momentum and now it will be very hard to achieve something big. I will try my luck with something new. |

I think it is only good for long term for short to medium term i think that price can slip even further from here so you should either wait more before buying or you can setup buy order at a cheaper price.

I doubt the meetup event will have any effect on the price, there needs to be bigger news coming from their office. If they can deliver on their main goals then it can pump to high levels e.g. sidechains, an SDK, a DEX for their DAPPS. So far investors are left wanting so it's still a gamble right now, worth hodling some but not going all in

A meetup doesn't seem like a significant enough event to cause any sort of price movements. Most cryptos have multiple meets ups in a year and I've never seen any of them lead to anything significant.

Been almost literally a year since I remember last hearing about Lisk hype. I used to own some, but liquidated everything at some 10% profit or so, in exchange for more Waves at the time. Not even sure what price it was at during the time, but in dollar's worth, my entire portfolio is below 60% on average.
Lisk's actually solid, in my opinion, but I've put all my bets with existing coins I know better. Waves as mentioned above, Gbyte even. One for a platform for dapps, the other for a different (DAG) structure.

I can't really come to conclusion on this project, List what marketed then as a direct competitor to Ethereum using Java script if my memory serve me write and with the launch of the platform one real dapps is work on the chain or a choice platform for developers looking to raise funds in the space. I will sit on the fence about the project and see what the future holds for the platform

Investing in any coin in this bad situation of market is risky. Lisk is also more risky because this project has nothing different from the existed coins. And it looks like a pump and dump coin to me. You have to wait for couple of month before investment.

go a head if you want to buy it, but when market conditions crash like this, it's better not to hold it in the long run, set your target and prepare your CL percentage.
i suggest better hold top 10 marketcap for now.

Lisk was one of the coins I was considering investing in last year. Luckily I didn't because this bearish market pulled everything down. Now as these bearish conditions are prolonged it is not easy to give a good advice. Usually the saying goes one should buy the rumors and sell the news but I don't know how much this saying applies for Lisk regarding the Utrecht meetup. As usual you should decide and do your investments without listening to other peoples opinions. By doing that if you are wrong there is no one to blame but yourself. If you are right you have no one to praise but yourself.

I mean they did have some solid development. The problem is that nobody would prefer LISK to Ethereum for Dapps - even if you're not looking to do an ICO, Ether being more popular is also more secure. This space only has room for one big DApp Blockchain and for now that's ethereum. LISK doesn't have EOS-type funding to even be a close second. |

The maximum that can be squeezed by a lisk this year is 10 dollars, it has advantages over the ether but also disadvantages over other coins. But when bulls appear, any coin is capable of doubling. |

I agree with other fellow members that Lisk has wasted significant part of the year and hasn't delivered any progress. The event will most likely has neglectable impact on LSK price.

As far as I know meetup does not tend price of the altcoins in uptrend side, if they announce any news about developments & partneship then there will be chances of the increase in value of the LSK. We are in the 2nd year of bear market a lot of projects have failed despite having good tech because they do not have users & LISK needs to work on adoption then & then only price will increase. |
