I don't know what fear you are referring to. People who were once fearful of Bitcoin and Ethereum are running their operations on these platform. Not to forget cryptocurrencies are the first hand demonstration of blockchain technology and the privacy protection issues are one of the most explored and worked upon in cryptosphere.
