You actually can. Otherwise, it wouldn't even be showing the "Invalid image" error.
The problem is that you are doing it wrong. That's the URL you are trying to use for the image:
https://imgur.com/a/hswGBQSNotice how it doesn't end with a file image extension (jpg, png, gif...); Now let's go to the URL above (which isn't an image, but a website that has an image embedded to it), and let's copy the URL of the image (the correct URL). Right-click the image -> Copy URL of the image. And here it is:
https://talkimg.com/images/2023/05/14/blob52e724c3b0294f88.png <- notice how it ends with .png (a file image extension).
Now try to use it and see what happens.
