I am calling out so-called bitcoin expert Huh David Gerard for the fraud that he is.  .  All he does is trash bitcoin, trash ethereum and trash any other blockchain idea on wikipedia, but he sells himself as a bitcoin consultant..   Im amazed that this charlatan gets so much media attention.   His poor understanding of how bitcoin works, his hatred for bitcoin and his disdain for the bitcoin community is evident on page 1 of "Attack of the 50 Foot Blockchain: Bitcoin, Blockchain, Ethereum & Smart Contracts"

 Ive linked to it below.

If you have an amazon account, do what is right in the book review section.

This self-styled bitcoin guru is a big wig at wikipedia using his own name "David Gerard." He spends his days and nights deleting articles and trashing anyone who supports blockchain projects!

Wikipedia would have us believe that David Gerard is volunteer.  Im calling bullshit.  Trolls dont work for free.   Somebody is paying him and other "wikipedia editors" to take down anything crypto related or to insert fake news into articles that they cant eliminate.   Bitcoin is down, David Gerard smells blood and he attacks with FUD to drive the price down even more.

He says his dodgy book is being used on university campuses!   Which ones?

If this is true, we need to contact the administration of these schools, expose David Gerard fior the fraud that he is and insist that Andreas Antonopolis is invited to speak.

A lot of other people have their doubts about David Gerard:

David Gerard has come kind of anti-bitcoin agenda.   He spends his entire day trashing bitcoin and all cryptos.  Somebody has to be paying him, he even write a book about bitcoin.   Now he has a sidekick names Amy Castor.  Every few hours they let rip another anti bitcoin tweet.

Read more about this imposter:

We need a crowdfunded investigation into this piece of shit.

This thread is really about Ethereum which deservedly gets the vast majority of David Gerard's sneer.

David Gerard makes a name for himself being contrary.  He's often right about the things he criticizes, but like anyone else who makes their opposition part of their identity he can often be wrong too.

There is a _ton_ of outright fraud in this space, especially around Ethereum.

If you're feeling exposed by him, perhaps you should reconsider your actions (and "investments")?

[Kinda funny that these newbie account vaguely threatening posts start up right when the target starts ripping into Wrights latest false claims...]

Bitcoin is strong enough to take a bit of mud thrown its way and come out the better for it-- various premined scamtokens? ... not so much.

There are lots of contraries and people who are against Bitcoin and they're doing everything to destroy it but no one has succeeded. Bitcoin is too resistant to be affected by these strategies. They're exerting too much efforts just to break the reputation of Bitcoin as well as Ethereum but these two have built a strong foundation which cannot be shaken by different controversies.
