How are you guys managing risks .

Many people use short term strategy ( daily method ) or leave market and built another opportunity with blog, fb ads and forex. You can't survive but use your time and money out side crypto to get income, as alternative and also built your skill using another way. Risk is depend your money management and don't increase your risk because faith, use your calculation and open mind.

Day trading is the only way we can do so far if we plan to trade in this bearish situation in the market. It's hard to make some decent profit from this bearish market especially if it's acting weird where the market makes a small movement and yet moving too slow. It is better to just hodl your coins if you can handle the long-term investment idea.

Until now even though I have a very large estimated loss, I still remain in the market, and there are not many strategies that I do to trade, only when I can have the opportunity to buy when there is a slight decline and I will sell and take profits when prices rose slightly and gave me a little profit, although I knew that staying in the bear market had a big risk, but I would always try to make a profit, even though it wasn't much I could get.

You can do day trade to make profits in this bear market or just hold the coin until the price reaches more than your bought price.No more strategies in my opinion.

If you are just one of the ordinary traders in this industry, it will be really hard to survive if you are not knowledgeable in trading.
so far the market are still bad, but if you know to yourself that you are capable and have a characteristic in one of the trading experts. I assure you that not just can only survive in the bear market but you can also earn big still despite of the market was declined.

For those who don't take in trading and hold their funds in (USD) or dollar for sure they are survival in trading because as a trader I know that bear market decrease all altcoins in that days of suffering.

It's really difficult to trade now because of this kind of market but i still do trade my coins on weekly basis. My strategy is to have some coin research, price movement from the last year's drought and the present one then predicts if it will go up or down, as simple as that. I know almost everyone are doing this but this is really the thing that is a must to do with this kind of market.

No one knows when the bear market will take place and end. I always play a dangerous game by selling all my Altcoins as soon as the market starts to turn red and buy them back at lower prices. But this is a lot of risks because if it is only a temporary decline, you have made a stupid decision.

Right.We can still make day trading even when the market is bearish but knowing this is more risky than holding your coins,so i suggest do not just do day trading unless you are trader with special skills and even strategies.That is why only few of the people here prefer to do day trade and for sure most of them are into holding their own coins.

In order to manage the risk in trading you need to have enough knowledge and patience , you have to build your own strategy to earn huge profit. During this time, the market gives the opportunity to everyone to buy coins and it is definitely good but of course we can't avoid hard situations like losing money so I choose to hold it.

you can still do trade while the market is bear by simply picking up the good coin for trading like bitcoin by that you can lessen the risk, the price is moving always ups and downs so it gives the chance to do a good trade.

In this case, you should be a <monster> to make money by trading. Personally, all I do is bounty and frankly it's not the right time to trade for me. In addition I don't have idea when it will recover and coins I keep in wallet may be worthless as time goes by.

Every of my trading activities have been cut down to minimum. Trading at this time is pretty risky, there's no good upward direction. Again, the sudden spikes and fall is also a very bad thing right now. I just buy a few good coins and hold. Currently trading ripple since it seems a little stable, even though the price has also slumped recently.

I stopped trading since the early right after the bear market started, all I do know is increase my holding on some of the coins, whenever I have some spare money I buy more which is rare in these days but I am trying my best to increase my bag in certain coins. Part of surviving the bear market is focusing on my main work outside Crypto space that why I hope I will not find my self forced to liquidate any of my holding in a loss.

I agree, we can do a lot of ways in order to survive while on bear market and supress for a while your engagement of cypto's virtual world. Physical job can be a great alternative while waiting for bullish market to overtake the bear market. However that's a hard choice to prefer of but there's no choice but have this options in orde to survive. Let's all remain at ease, maintain a good well beings and chill, calm and relax our minds in order to avoid stressful life. Enjoying physical job is healthy for us, and with crypto think it as your secondary and not always a priority so that you won't be frustrated.

Well, I’m still doing good since I have some source of income that can make me more profitable. I still trading but not that much because I’m waiting for a dump price and sold it i already make profit, as simple as that. But holding is still my priority especially with eth and btc.

NEVER stop to buy!

How much money do you have to buy bitcoin? when you say 'never' then that is something that is not acceptable to reason. For me, I decided to stop trading, there are other things that can be relied upon and do not have a heavy risk. Yeah I just hold my investment even though the price is slowly decreasing, but I'm sure hold is the best choice for me. Trading when prices continue to red will make me blind and unable to decide with a healthy mind.

Bear markets suck because they're prone to long, "bleeding out" periods that erupt into crashes. This forces you to hold shorts for long periods (incurring interest costs and counterparty risk). I know of people who simply left the market after the bubble popped in 2013 and 2017 because the market is so much harder to consistently profit from during the bear periods.

I trade the short side using leverage to minimize the funds I need to hold on exchanges. For example, a 5x short means I only need to keep 20% of funds in position to fully hedge my coins.

More than anything, you've just got to recognize the bigger picture for what it is (a bear market) and trade with that bias. Avoid countertrending too much and when you do, don't get pipe dreams about your longs. Take profit and start looking for shorts again. There's massive resistance overhead at $5K-$6K and there's no way this market is just going to instantly turn bullish again. The November monthly downtrend signal is active for a few more months yet.
