You can report bitcointalk phishing attempts by clicking "Report to Moderator" in the down right corner i believe.
For Facebook and other, use their platform, bitcointalk do not care about phishing attempts off-site, they are to many to be handled and carried

Facebook and Twitter are not small enterprises, they employ thousands of employees to keep their community safe, one of the dangers is the phishing links which have been assigned the following email "phish@fb.com": ANN here [1].
I do not know how investigations are conducted but you can find more information by asking Google.
and will find more here[2].

I'd like to add this: Twitter has a report button if you feel that they violate the rules or the tweet is phishing you can report them by simply clicking this icon right side of the tweet then click the icon.

Or you can follow the guide from Twitter help page from here https://help.twitter.com/en/safety-and-security/report-spam

This is enough to tell Twitter to ban or remove spam or scammy phishing tweets.

We can't prevent scammers and phishing sites for spreading but we can help the community by reporting it to minimize them.

Hi,

I am investigating phishing scams of crypto on social media sites .

Which authorities do Facebook, Twitter etc report these scams to once they have been flagged by users?

Surely on cyber related crimes/fraud bodies or any related institutions. Just didn't know the exact name. You can contact Facebook or Twitter on that concern.

But no need to go on authorities. Since you are targeting social media site, you can direct report it to them. It's way less hassle.

If found outside social media, you can report it on any web search engine companies so that they can filter the web result while at the same time forwarding the report to the authorities. One example is https://safebrowsing.google.com by Google. Or you can seek an assistance at your local authorities about the concern.

I am mostly using Twitter and whenever I find any phishing scam just report to the Twitter and I usually get a quick answer from there that they will do appropriate steps against them. I think it is the only way to fight with phishing scammers.

It should be valid because facebook recommends this email from their help page.

Take look at this guide What will you do if you've been phished on facebook?
