What are the features you want most in a sportsbook?

We launched a Betbit.com's sportsbook a few months ago, and members here at bitcointalk.org have given us some great feedback. We are still implementing the ideas you guy's have had.

We are continually looking to improve, so we wanted to ask you guys what are the most important features you look for in a sportsbook? Let's assume that you actually use a sportsbook, and prefer bitcoin as a deposit method.

Your book is really annoying to navigate, and while -110/-106 evens for popular events is good, it's not worth switching when I can get -104 from BitcoinRush.

Excellent feedback. Thank you. I agree with the UI of the book. We are looking into other software providers with a better UI. It will probably take about 6-8 months to change (realistically).

Good interface, this site is quite new to me but I love it since you offer a lot of games, especially sports betting of course.
Will give time to register and explore, maybe I can find a new place for sports betting, currently I'm with sportsbet.io and I'm quite satisfied, but will of course try yours.

I like Sportsbet.io's UI the best. It's well organized, easy to navigate (especially with the search function) and simple to understand.

I would take a look at my sportsbook margin comparison thread. There's some books with surprisingly good lines (for example, Betcoin has very good Euro soccer MLs). Sportsbet.io has horrible lines without a price boost for most events.

Parlay is really good but they have limitations, you cannot parlay all your the odds in a single event and I guess no site would allow that.
One of the most entertaining type of bet is the live betting, I can feel you on that as I also love to gamble through live betting and if they will display a lot of betting lines, that makes it more interesting, and also odds should also be competitive or above standard to make it more appealing.

I like mostly the instant withdrawals. I've used some sportsbook which legitly operating but what I don't like with them is the delay with their withdrawals. They are legit, paying and let's say reputable too but that's one problem that I don't like with them though I keep on playing with them. I'll not mention that sportsbook.

Some casinos (at least some local ones) don't let's you to take different odds from one game. For example I mean let's take FC Barcelona - Arsenal <---- Bet on 1, number of goals over 2.5, number of corners over 9.5, number of cards, all of these from one game.
Also cashout will be great, function of editing bets before game starts (to add or remove game). Also promotions like 100% cashback if 1 bet loses from 5 one, 150% cashback if one loses from 6 and something similar.

One major problem most individuals involved in betting have with betting site would be slow payout so I would say one major improvement would be to make a quick payout system

If possible I'd like to see more friend UI. Many sport bookies nowadays I feel like they haven't updated their idea of UX/UI for age. Some are still using responsive (so everything is so small) instead of mobile optimized version.

Also like to see some new ways of placing bets. And easy-to-access supportive information like stats and so on.

I'm generally looking for 2 features when I'm betting:

First and most important are Good odds on most events. If the bookie doesn't offer a good odds, I'm not looking further.
Second is a decent and not too complicated user interface.

Unfortunately Betbit.com doesn't offer any of these. Your interface is annoying and currently your sports sections is giving an error

Thanks again, I just look at the NBA and Match Winner Margin is new to my eyes because most of the time I'm just focus on one gambling site since I don't throw a lot of bet in a single day. In my thread NBA 2018-2019 betting for example, I place only one bet a day and if I get an odds of like 1.90 at sportsbet.io, I can already have that increased to 2.00 with the price boost.

Same here. In my opinion, trust is the primary reason to show any sort of interest in a sportsbook which is followed by other factors like odds, user interface, customer support etc.

I have seen many of my friends who got scammed even after winning decent amounts thanks to the scammy websites which is why op needs to establish his sportsbook as a trustworthy sportsbook initially.

Never knew that there were such good odds available at BitcoinRush which I will surely check out asap. Thanks for that.

The biggest enemy of on chain betting is about the transaction fees especially when the bitcoin network are so crowded and we must pay too high fees like what happened in the past. Indeed directbet was one of the most favorite sportsbook although their odds seems to be lower than other sportbooks. I believe sports bettor prefer to any sportsbooks with higher odds, and obviously about other offer such as promotion. The other wanted features could be about the availability of many markets, instant deposit and withdrawal, and maybe live matches so people may watch the macthes while they are betting.

Mine would be none of the ones given in the poll, but live betting.

Not all sportsbook include live betting because I guess it's a bit different from normal betting...
I don't bet often on sports but when I do I like to be after seeing by myself how the players are acting, how is the mood, how they're behaving...
Live betting is great because you can bet on what you know for sure (teams results, location...) and on what you feel! On your understanding of the current game.

So I really like live betting!

First of all an impeccable trust, after depending on your audience target a good user interface with very good odds. The better is the user-interface more casual players you can have, better the odds are more whales you can have.

I have checked your website and find that not all feedbacks should be generalized for sportsbooks. Like I know "more deposit options" is more broad thing for all but what about feedback specifically for betbit.com ? I think by far the first thing you guys should improve is the graphics. It looks more like a news website than casino.

The OP post didn't had a "link" but it had the website name so I copy and pasted and it took me to the casino which I first thought was a news aggregator website. Change the casino graphics to something better should be to first thing you guys should do. After that I think if you are looking for something broader like the options here I suppose more deposit options (chance to gamble with more coins than just bitcoin) and also better odds are the most important ones.
