I have a computer constantly connected to the network with free electricity. Of course, I could mine, but I have outdated hardware + I don't like the idea of meaningless calculations.
I want, without investing my own funds, to support the ecosystem of any coin and receive currency for it. For example, my computer can contain the entire blockchain, verifying the history and current operations, saving the network from an attack of 51%.
Please, tell me about similar coins.

I'm pretty sure your example there is exactly what mining is, just with the added functionality of actually "handling" new transactions.

Mining consumes significantly more energy + more wear equipment.

you can't have everything at the same time! you don't want to spend anything, you don't want to mine anything, and you don't want to work. but at the same time you want to earn, you want to mine and you want to protect against 51% attack?!!!
that is not possible. you have to give something to receive something in return. for example you have to spend your computing power and mine some coin to contribute to its hashing power and make 51% attacks harder. or you have to invest your money and buy some altcoin to have a share of it to run a PoS node and earn stakes.
you can run a full node of some coin, like bitcoin full node and contribute to its network and increase the decentralization of it a small amount but you won't be earning anything.

Can you indicate what are the specs of your computer? Mining is your only way to earn coins if you don't want to invest. Money doesn't grow without an investment unless you offer a service.

Somehow, mining can be determined as an investment in the other word. Your mining rig will be on risk if you are mining whether your rig will be exploded due to overheat.

Thanks for the tips! I see two tasks in front of the network: 1. To complicate the replacement of blocks (mining is used for this). 2. Contain full nodes. I think that the wrong decision was chosen in Bitcoin, in which only miners receive a reward. At this moment, I have two full node of Zcach and Monero, which loads all my 4 real cores of processor (i5-4690), uses 8GB memory, SSD- disk and high-speed Internet (~4 MB/sec). Perhaps there are coins, where it is at least somehow rewarded.

There's no free in this world buddy, if you want to earn you gotta invest something like money otherwise you won't get anything in return, if there is a way to earn without investing everyone would go for it.
you would want masternode if you want to earn without that much effort, while your holding your coins you also get more coins by holding possible more profit in the long run if you sell at higher price.

I am a little confused to answer your question, because you want to earn money without investing money. Actually you have done one way correctly, that is by mining. Well, I think there really isn't anything that is obtained for free without sacrifice. There might be another way to get free coins, that is by participating in bounties and airdrops. Thanks.

Why do you think that ONLY mining brings benefits to the network? On the contrary, I consider this a monkey- activity that damages our planet. I have already written that I have two full nodes, and I bring this benefit.

Let's rephrase your question: is there some way to make free money/crypto just with PC, free energy and without effort and investments? The answer is definitely no. Even if so and there is some way and some people except you know about it this way turns out to be outdated and it doesn't work anymore.

I think if you want to invest without funds it is very difficult, even though electricity and network are free, hardware must support the running of minning.

if I think the miner needs a lot of money to use to buy mining equipment, mining is like an investment but not the same and not willing to buy the tools too

If your electricity is free of course you can earn money through mining. Becaude the only things why the miner did not get high profit becaude of the electricity bill is higher than they get. Electricity is one of the bad why the mining is porfitbale to other country becaude the rate is high compared to other country. Anyway why you have free electricity do you have solar?

i think you have to give something before you can aim to earn. WHy ? because for every reward there is a task, Few projects are making a type of mining system where you have to use their mobile application to mine for their token.

With free electricity, the first thing that comes to mind is mining, and if you are not interesting in mining then shut the computer down, it will save the wear and tear of the hardware.

Why don't you participate in Quarkchain Test-net 2.0 mining campaign, Quarkchain adopts 3 different type of mining algorithm as follows 1) Ethash 2) Double SHA256 3) QKChash which is ASIC resistant & developed by Quarchchain founder Qi Zhou to mine testnet coins on CPU. They have allocated total prize pool of 5,000,000 QKC for Testnet 2.0 Mining event, which will be distributed to miners after the mainnet launch which scheduled on 31st March 2019. For detail information about the event check this article https://medium.com/quarkchain-official/quarkchain-announces-official-launch-of-testnet-2-0-mining-8d16c9cd83ef

Without investing, I think you can not make it a revenue generating system. I suggest you to use PoS staking to have some profit. It requires some investment. Find out a good one which is giving good rewards and stake it. You will get good profit.

Mining consumes significantly more energy + more wear equipment. That's correct! if people know yout sites they will not buy miners if your methods are working and don't waste a huge money for investing in minings.
