This reply is both an appreciation and a polite request in light of this thread.

At that time our project was in the teething stage and we were working to improve our project.

We appreciated your suggestions for the whitepaper. We had finished our white paper and updated on our website after a few days when you created the thread.

You can review here: https://pieta.network/WhitePaper.pdf

I will be thankful to you if you could check our whitepaper again and let us know if you find any issue in it. We appreciate to you for spending your valuable time on our project.

Thanks a lot.

I've had a quick look at their new white-paper. It certainly looks more professional and more in-depth than the one I originally red-tagged them for, and as far as I can tell, I cannot find any plagiarized content within it. While I'm certainly not going to remove the original red tag for plagiarism, they seem to have worked hard to overcome this. Given theymos' views on forgiveness and de-escalation in relation to the trust system (I've quoted a couple of relevant sections below), I'm not going to tag this new account based solely on their past mistakes, although I obviously can't speak for other DT users. If you find any other behavior on their part which is untrustworthy, feel free to post it here.

- Forgiveness: Often people make fairly small mistakes, but then they seemingly get red-trusted for life. This isn't really fair, and it discourages participation due to paranoia: if you think that you have a 1% chance of running afoul of some unwritten rule and getting red-trusted for life, you might just avoid the marketplace altogether. Red trust should mostly be based on an evaluation of what the person is likely to do in the future moreso than a punishment/mark-of-shame.

- You should be willing to forgive past mistakes if the person seems unlikely to do it again.

Thanks o_e_l_e_o for your thoughtful reply. We have certainly improved a lot since this thread was originally posted by you. As you can see, we have updated our project whitepaper entirely and it now perfectly communicates our idea and what we are actually trying to achieve here with Pieta.

We have come a long way and are committed to go forward and see this project to success for the sake of the people (community & users) we are working for.

I assure you that Pieta is an absolutely genuine project backed by a real team of experts, enthusiasts, engineers, investors and advisors from around the world who are working hard to make it a success.

I am glad that experts like you are starting to realize that now. I would ask you to kindly remove this thread, if it is not too much trouble. We want to give people a fair opportunity to understand and see our project for what it really is, and not judge us based on some immature mistakes (like our old whitepaper). Thanks.

I will probably do that very soon or start another Scam Accusation, as I don't think the title "Plagiarized Whitepaper" accurately describes a total scam from being to end.
brb....

(In the meantime, someone pls let me know what an X20 algo is, tia.)
