Tell me how to write to the moderator 'ThomasV'! I write that I can not write to him because I'm new!
Talking with ThomasV is useless. Let me explain what happened.

A hacker found an exploit on the Electrum software that made possible showing fake erros messages for users connected in specific servers hosted by the hacker. The “please update to version 3.3.2” message you saw was fake. What you downloaded from that link was a fake Electrum wallet that automatically sent all your coins to the hacker’s address.

Unfortunately, you can’t get your coins back. Bitcoin transactions are irreversible and your coins are gone. Not even ThomasV can help you. There is nothing anyone can do. Sorry.

as I understand it all the same elect site itself? !!!! since my wallet was downloaded from the official site elecrum.org !!!!!!!

Things went wrong when you downloaded the “update” (which is fake) from the websites mentioned at the fake “please update” error message.

The only original website: https://electrum.org
The fake website (from your screenshot): https://electrum.CF

Yes ! exactly  !

Then you have been scammed. By both the owner of that server and your own poor judgement. It is the server and hacker alone who is really to blame for this.

I'm sorry but your coins are now gone. If that transaction is confirmed then its over... I would suggest just checking on a block explorer t u at its definitely confirmed though. Try btc.com with your address.

I just need to mention that there's a short notice on electrum.org download page stating:
Quote from: electrum.org
Warning: Some malicious servers have started a phishing attack against Electrum users. When asked to broadcast a transaction, malicious servers reply with an error message, directing users to download a fake version of Electrum. DO NOT download Electrum from another site than electrum.org. More information here

And from the Important Announcement Board since the very first hour of the incident:
Quote from: theymos
If you click the link in the message and install the software, then your BTC will be stolen. If you ignore the message, then you should be OK.
-snip-
With those (together with the fact that it is an open-source project), we can assume that any incidents involving that particular hack can't be blamed to Electrum's developers.

-snip-
OPERATION FOR ALL THE FUNNIES WHICH WERE IN THE ACCOUNT! 21.9667747 BTC !!!
You can always turn to the authorities (Police) and report the incident, same as this guy who had his Electrum-stored Bitcoins (and Altcoins) stolen.
The chance to retrieve your coins might be slim but it's better than chasing your tail.

Not sure what do you want to talk with him? Like I said: there is NOTHING he or anyone else can do to help you or recover your coins. Simple as that.

He’s also well aware of the exploit and has made some changes on the latest version of Electrum (which you didn’t had) to help preventing people from falling for this scam.

No one denied that fact. Like I said, it’s an exploit on the Electrum software. Electrum didn’t “attack” you. The hacker did. At the end, you did download the fake software from the fake Electrum website (electrum.cf).

Like I said, there is nothing he can do. ThomasV can’t recover your funds and I’m pretty sure he can’t take from his own pocket to pay you (if that’s what you are wondering).

If you want my suggestion, just move on. Sadly that’s all you can do.

vanya770707, you lost your coins just because you did not read warning on official Electrum site. It is clearly stated there that users should not download Electrum with no other location then official site, and you did just opposite thing.

However it is true that hackers use exploit in official Electrum to fool users and point them to fake wallet, but this is obviously something that can not be so easily resolved. This is risk every users must take over when dealing with cryptocurrency, turn you brain on and read with understanding.

If you still want to contact developer of Electrum try to send him message on his bitcointalk profile : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3137 or maybe on Twitter : https://twitter.com/ElectrumWallet

But as you can see he is not active here more then a month, and even if he is there is no help for your problem.
