The Team

Jeremy Kim is the founder and CEO of Membersheep. He is a serial entrepreneur. Studied business at Yonsei University School of Business (South Korea) and worked in the IT industry for 8 years. He founded/co-founded 3 e-commerce startups in Silicon Valley /Hong Kong. He previously worked at LVMH and Groupon.

Jack Shi, CTO. Previously a Java Engineer for 9 years and then Blockchain Engineer for 5 years. Worked at China Ping An (insurance company) and Sinosoft.

Membersheep now has 15 employees across Hong Kong and Shanghai and is quickly growing to facilitate its international expansion. The team all have experience in blockchain and/or e-commerce, previously working at companies including Uber, Kia Motors and FIFA.

As you said, ERC-721 is better for generating the unique block number and ERC-223 is better for withdraw/cost/etc. Although the ERC-20 is relatively unstable, it is used by many companies in terms of compatibility, it's much easier for raising fund, listing exchange, etc. So we started with ERC-20 first and make up for it.

One of the important functions of Membersheep B2B platform is helping FMCG brands build digital assets on their products. Sheep Coin is the cryptocurrency developed for the Membersheep platform, however payments can be made with traditional currency as well, as has been the case for the past few years (before the launch of Sheep Coin).

Sheep Coin however offers great benefits for platform users - Sellers and Buyers benefit from no transaction fees, quicker and more efficient transactions, and established trust through the blockchain network.

The Korea and China government have banned ICOs but still support blockchain technology. So most of the Korean/Chinese companies make a son company in Singapore or Hong Kong and then proceed with an ICO. As for Membersheep, our headquarters is in Hong Kong so we proceed with the ICO in Hong Kong and we don't have any problems with this.
