Mediterraneancoin (MED) is a derivative of Bitcoin/Litecoin using a new proof-of-work algorithm called HybridScryptHash256.
The new Proof of Work algorithm HybridScryptHash256 is described in detail here: https://github.com/mrtexaznl/mediterraneancoin/releases/download/v0.8.5.2/hybridscrypthash256.pdf

HybridScryptHash256 integrates the best of Hash256 and Scrypt algorithms, allowing the reuse of the less powerful ASIC Block Erupter devices.

HybridScryptHash256 allows all the users of erupters and similar small ASIC devices to mine an altcoin without having "whales" coming and disrupt mining.

old asics just continue to work  Cool  REUSE your ERUPTER!! MED motto  Wink

if developers looking for good project,., are welcome to join on board

So if the dev is not taking care of their site and thread anymore, then who authorize a launch of like future updates and/or announcements? At what capacity will this thread be official and can be trusted to carry an exact development updates as per dev's wishes?

satoshi is gone, but bitcoin is still alive - right?

this topic is just for information purpose, because almost all old repo services from dev working with my help, people can't handle with this old code, except official dev site and of course old dead thread, here people can inform let say for future fork. I also do not mention "official" anywhere in my first post

Who say new update and features will be made without developer permissions  ?
I promise old chain and repo will be untouched Wink
if i made a fork, do i must ask for permissions ?
who to ask - dead official site ?
who ask satoshi ?

thanks for attention  Wink
