The altcoin can give you a profit if you can analyze and find the right coins and I am sure that the altcoin will be profitable too. I agree with hulla said, that investing in bitcoin is the best at the moment, but I would suggest to you, don't go all in with all the money but buy from small amount first and then buy again if the price is down and so on. I don't suggest you to investing in mining as right now, mining is not profitable especially if you decide to buy hardware to mining bitcoin because the difficulty still on the high and you need a big hashrate to get a big reward.

Altcoins are also good investment but not all of altcoins are worth it to purchase because there are only few altcoins that can help us to grow our profit. If we have good analyzation skills then we can ensure that we can have high returns.

I agree with you in part, the fact is that some people prefer quick earnings and invest in several hyip's at the same time and get a good profit from it. Bitcoin is a long term investment.

Trading is a lot time consuming Even i prefer not going for trading but i prefer investing in some schemes who have good returns in return also in form of passive income. Investing in some good schemes like pos mining is good for me

Risks always remains constant by the time we invest in any project but of we find any of the good project than the profits could be multiplied by several times. Taking risk and than investing into any of the project is what needs a lot of research and deep knowledge about the field you go for. This thread got some interesting replies with good projects and i am going for one of them. 2017 was good for ICO's so any of the ICO before year 2017 can be trustworthy to invest into.

I firmly agree! As per my mentality i prefer investing into projects which do offer stable source of income as you said. That makes it much mkre easier to secure the financial life and also to manage reinvent into some other projects from the profits we gain for such projects like Edinarcoin. I advised for you to wait a little more. If SEC still don't favor futures then that the whole sentiment in the market will still stay negative but if ever one of them gets finally approved and you see the positive effect right away then don't waste time and jump right away.

Actually you are in the right time to jump in, you have a very clear mind of the situation which not all newbies have in the market. You have asked this question about investing in crypto during the bear market which is the complete opposite of what newbies are doing if the bull market is the perfect time to jump in. You can't exactly pinpoint the bottom and the current price has very little room to drop since it's quite low now. If you can spare a year or two in holding coins then this current price would be a very good entry point.
