Are there any altcoins that does not depend on btc price? As most of you know, btc price goes up, altcoin price goes up. When btc prices goes down, altcoin price follows. But are there any altcoins that does not care what btc price does? If so, what are these coins?

You may find this site with bitcoin/altcoin price correlations helpful - https://coinpredictor.io/altcoinsThe least correlated altcoins are usually stable coins or fresh ICOs with insufficient data history. However, even some old coins can be found among the least correlated pairs such as FlorinCoin.

Everything depends on Bitcoin no exception, that was why those coins were named as an alternative cryptocurrency. It is an alternative for us to use it and the main cryptocurrency is Bitcoin itself. No matter what project it is, everything depends on Bitcoin. If Bitcoin gets banned in some place, another cryptocurrency will be affected too. On the other hand, if something gets banned in some place, Bitcoin might be not.

As far as I know there is no coin that doesn't get affected by the price of BTC. The best you can get is coin that doesn't gey drastically affected by BTC fluctuations in price. BTC is first cryptocurrency and as such all altcoins are related directly with BTC. Even BTC is always paired directly with almost all altcoins on exchanges or slightly indirectly with another coin that serves as a middleman.

IMHO there are no altcoins that don't have any price correlation with top 2 cryptocurrencies except stable coins. Maybe in future there will be cryptos that can set its own price with special liquidity providers but this invention will not likely happen in near future. Every tick on BTC price chart means millions for crypto marketcap

All cryptocurrencies will get affected by price and news related to Bitcoin and that is because Bitcoin is the backbone of the Crypto world and it is just a logical thing that anything related to it will affect the whole Crypto space in one way or another, but during the sideways market most altcoins tends to act on its own as long as there is no big effect coming from Bitcoin whether it was in price or big news.

All crypto assets depend on btc price . I think that the only exception is stablecoins (usdt, usdc and so on) and those altcoins which are extremely low in popularity (and have very low trading volumes), because such coins do not react to market movements, they just lie on the bottom and wait for their buyer.

When BTC goes down before it is considered as a price manipulation by those whales because they tend to switch from Bitcoin to altcoin before. But it i don't notice it lately since the last ATH of Bitcoin. It seems that they were tired of switching from both sides that's why these whales choose what is best for them.

Mostly such projects do not depend on btc movement that are mostly based on trading and keep generating profits regardless of market condition they keep growing and we have seen example in form of projects like arbitrage dot com. Among upcoming projects im very bullish about foxtrading im sure if they are able.to generate consistent profits then their tokeb foxt will reach $5 to $10 in a years time.

I am yet to see such altcoin with no correlation with Bitcoin . I think bitcoin still remains the benchmark and every other coin seems to be taking moment from it .

The only Altcoins that I know that do not depend on BTC price or any akts for that matter are stable coins like USDT, their price is always constant and never changes no matter the amount of flunctuation in the market.

All altcoins depend on BTC price since satoshi value is the very first measure of cryptocurrencies. Occasionally, some altcoins will experience an uptrend irrespective of whether btc is on the downside or stable. But this happens when there is a big news for such altcoin, hence many crypto enthusiasts FOMO in.

Aitcoins do not depend on BTC price really, it's just that most Altcoins are traded against BTC and if BTC price is increasing, it is only logical that altcoin price would be increasing as well because they are traded against each other, so this is why it would be hard to get an altcoin that doesn't follow the BTC trend.

There are mirrored coins in which smart investors go if the price of Bitcoin starts to fall. the price of such coins increases when the price of bitcoin falls

I still don't understand the concept behind altcoins following the trend of bitcoin. Must altcoins prices change in same direction with Bitcoin. Anyway, there are still altcoins that do wonders even when bitcoin is at worst state.

Only stable coin that can be independent and that doesn't get any impact from the bitcoin. It's almost impossible to find a usual altcoin that can be an independent coin. But you can see binance coin it may fit with your spesification but i can't guarantee if that can 100% imune from the bitcoin's impact.
