The Afghanistan team deserves the semi-final. Each of their players has a strong will to win the match. They have passion and talent. I think they should go to the final. This is their first semi-final appearance in a big tournament. Hopefully, the Afghanistan team can do well in the semi-finals. Good luck to them.

And I will not be surprised if Afghanistan goes to the semi-final or the final. Because Afghanistan is performing well back to back. However, they still have some weakness in their batting but they have removed the weakness of the batsmen with their world class bowlers as they showed in the previous match against Bangladesh. I think they will win with South Africa also because South Africa's performance is not very good in this ICC World Cup.

Did you notice that Afghanistan team though won against Bangladesh relying on bowling alone. But the South African team reached the semi-finals winning every match and winning margin. Who can you imagine in this case?
  And also think if Bangladesh could have won then surely Afghanistan team would not have entered the semi-final. So since the game of cricket is a game of uncertainty, it can never be said with certainty that a change of direction is normal at any time.  So we have to wait until the end of the game to see which team will win.

They lost wickets at the start and were under a lot of pressure. In a game like the semi-final, the opposition should have been given a bigger target if Afghanistan's batsmen could have played the entire over, surely they could have given South Africa a target of 130 runs. Buddy, I woke up early but the match was finished very early. Afghanistan disappointing performance in the semi-final match all out in just 56 runs. No Afghanistan batter entered into double figures very irresponsible batting for players. South Africa amazing bowling performance picking the early wickets and all pressure to Afghanistan team. I think it's a tough pitch for batting but South Africa easily chases down the target 60 runs by losing only 1 wicket. The Player of the Match award to  Marco Jansen who picked early wickets of Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Gulbadin Naib in this match. Marco Jansen picked 3 important wickets by just giving only 16 runs. South Africa winning by 9 wickets and qualify for final to the World Cup 204 first time in history.

Anyway, watched the highlights and only thing I can say is, Rashid should have taken that Markram's review, when it was only wickets that could pressure the SA.

Afghanistan should be proud for what they did in this tourney so far (beating aus, nz, reaching semis) despite this today's thrashing.

I was too surprised to see the scorecard as the Afganistan team surrendered the match without giving a fight. I just wonder what will be the reactions of the Afganistan people back home to this humiliating loss. Remember, it is not the nature of the "Pathans" to accept such a loss when they had high hopes after reaching the semi-finals.

I am honestly speechless after seeing the result of the first semi-final. None of us were prepared for such an outcome. This Afghanistan team defeated the mighty Australia team a few days ago. I can't believe it. No one expected Afghanistan to concede such a humiliating defeat. The team collected only 56 runs. Despite having so many experienced batsmen in the squad, the team managed to score only 56 runs. It's really hard to believe.

Tabraiz and Nortje destroyed Afghanistan's batting order today. Nortje took two wickets with 7 runs in 3 overs. Tabraiz took 3 wickets for 6 runs in 1.5 overs and Jansen took three wickets for 16 runs in 3 overs. There was no batsman in the Afghanistan squad who was capable of batting responsibly.

South Africa team reached the target of victory by losing only 1 wicket. But I am happy that South Africa have qualified for the finals. Luck is helping South Africa in this World Cup. T20 World Cup champions South Africa have a big chance.

South Africa have won all the matches in this World Cup so far. However, South Africa won easily in just two matches. South African players have performed well in the two matches against Sri Lanka and Afghanistan. And the team won by dominating. Besides, South Africa won every match by a very narrow margin.

I thought the Afghanistan vs South Africa match would be competitive and exciting. Because the bowling order of both the teams is strong. On the other hand, the batsmen's batting was very erratic. But no one could have imagined that Afghanistan's batsmen would put up a terrible batting display in such an important match. South Africa's innings stopped at just 56 runs.

I am happy to see the South African team qualify for the finals. This is the first time in the history of T20 cricket that South Africa have qualified for the final. South Africa will definitely try to make this final a memorable one and win the title.

Well, when you say that the performance for South Africa is not up to a certain level, but they have not lost a single match in this world. This is indeed a big achievement for them.

Even then, i do not see them looking as a team who we say could have reached the finals. They played good matches, won some of the close ones and worked & win as a team. They are playing as a unit and this thing matter the most in this World Cup.

Afghanistan's poor batting in the first semi-final saw them lose the match against South Africa by a huge margin as South Africa qualified for the final for the first time. We will see the second semi-final between India vs England but I will definitely put India ahead of England because India's batting line is very strong if they can bat responsibly then India will easily win against England. But the current batting line of England is quite good if the England batsmen can give India a target of 200 plus runs and can do it in a controlled manner then England will have a chance. The England vs India match is sure to be a high voltage match with thousands of cricket fans keen to see which team will emerge as another finalist. But I think India vs England match will be very competitive.
