ICYMI: Gautam Gambhir appointed as head coach for Indian cricket team till Dec 2027, 5 ICC trophies on the line during his tenure, should help India win at least couple of those.

Whatever the results may be, I expect entertaining times in Indian cricket 

Epic news. He proved himself as a great captain and a coach in the IPL which is why I feel that India can win atleast 1 big ICC trophy under him, but I am not expecting more than one big ICC trophy though.

He's very vocal against Star and PR culture so it'd be interesting to see what kind of steps he takes from now on. Lobbying and PR won't make much dent in ODI and Test squads but in T-20 it's the opposite because of the money involved.

He has a hunger for trophies so he'll try his best for sure but there is no surety.

In today's third match of the T20 series between India and Zimbabwe, India cricket team won the toss and batted first to set Zimbabwe a target of 183 runs. I think the batsmen of the Indian team played well enough in this match but if the batting of the Indian team could have done a little better then they could have given 200+ target to the Zimbabwean team. Today's third match of the T20 series is a very important match for both the teams. Because both the teams have won one match each in the previous two matches of this series. The team that wins today's match will clinch the series. Now let's finish the second innings game, and let's see which team can play a strong role to win the series in today's match.

The match between India vs Zimbabwe will be very one sided as India is undoubtedly strong. Zimbabwe will have very little chance of winning against India. Yeah. This is a stretch. Leagues like the Big Bash etc are themselves lagging way behind the IPL which is why expecting MLC to match or surpass the IPL in the future is wishful thinking.
