Mumbai Indians made 164 runs and Delhi Capitals successfully reached that score with two players left and no balls remaining. Annabel Sutherland played big role in Delhi win by getting three important players out while Shikha Pandey helped by getting two players out. Shafali Verma started strong and helped her team with 43 runs which led to exciting win. Match was very close and Delhi Capitals win showed how determined and skilled their team is.

I think the Mumbai Indians women's team's opening batsmen were not led properly in this match. There were high expectations from Hayley Matthews, one of the West Indies players on their team, but despite being the best batsman, she failed to live up to expectations. Besides, if you do not know why they decided to give Niki Prasad the best of the match. I think one of the reasons for their decision could be that that player batted with great patience even took his team very close to victory. Since the Mumbai Indians women's team was defeated in their first match, they should be the most focused on their second match.

Unbeaten Deandra Dottin and Harleen Deol lead GG to a victory.

This was just a poor display of batting first. Warriorz were unable to host a group total. One thing Deepti Sharma's gang also failed to realize is that the track was only favoring the bowlers for the first few overs. After that, it was a very good batting track.

Actually, Warriorz were concentrating too much on saving wickets and accelerating later on. I think that's what cost them a lot.

We can just look at the second innings where GG lost 2 wickets for only two runs. But still, they were able to make a good comeback and form a great partnership. Even when the opening batsman who was not out was scoring at a strike rate of less than 100, they were able to win very easily in the end.

I am not sure of all seasons but since last few seasons it's definitely not winner vs runner up.

In 2022 season, the final was between RR and GT, and yet 2023 season's inaugural match was between CSK and GT. Similarly, in 2023 season, the final was between GT and CSK yet 2024 season's first game was between CSK and RCB.

Compared to the performance of Gujarat Giants Women, no other team is performing well due to which all the teams are weakening and losing the matches.  Even in this match, UPW Women's batsmen could not make a big enough target to win them.  Gujarat Giants Women's batsmen achieved this target in 18 overs which gave them the win.  Their bowlers have also worked hard because of which this target was easy, they will get a difficult target too, so I hope they can achieve that target as well.  Congratulations to Gujarat Giants Women for this win, they have to show similar performance in the next matches as their performance has made them stronger.   Other teams against them are also weak, they should play well because they are not playing that well.

To be Honest Delhi Capitals Women and Royal Challengers Bangalore Women these two team were one river team to each others, because we also saw them in the previous season final and Althought that was one of the worst score Royal Challengers Bangalore Womendon on their final match and lose against the Delhi Capitals Women team on that final.

I think they were taking their revenge in this match, Renuka singh was stunning with his bowling and about the Smriti Mandhana and the Danni Wyatt-Hodge I thought they both will finish this match and then they will leave the ground but even though they lose their wickets the Royal Challengers Bangalore Women shows that it was one of the easiest win for them.

It's not about priority/desire to play or not. An opening match is always reserved and opening hosting rights go to the winning franchise, no matter what.

Quickly looked through the schedule and found out that they didn't just rob SRH from the opening match but they didn't even give a prime time slot (the next day) for their first match. They are playing a day match against RR, meanwhile, MI vs CSK match is scheduled for the prime time slot.

Concerns and complaints about BCCI increasing because they fail to bring fairness and good things despite having the richest board in cricket and too much influence give them not good mindset for having things which increase fans love with this IPL and cricket I really feel bad for them and Indian cricket fans due to their poor polices.

Now almost nearly 2 decades they have nothing good things for increase of fans entertainment because I was expecting something like first game is going to be play between defending champion and all star eleven which surely give good atmosphere and fun. Recently they also fail to bring good changes in many domestic events which are important but useless because they are having no quality check and things are also not helpful for domestic players those are giving their best for years here.
