All they had to do was to make sure that Ashutosh doesn't get the strike, but they failed to ensure even this basic task. And I really don't understand the point in asking Shahbaz Ahmed to bowl, when Shardul Thakur had two more overs in his quota.

There is no way in the world you give 40 runs in the last three overs and lose the match.

Although most of their bowlers took two wickets each but they gave way too many runs. When you see Ravi Bishnoi giving 53 runs and Prince Yadav giving 47 runs in their four-over spells, how can you think that Lucknow Super Giants can defend even a score as big as 209?

This is exactly what I am talking about. Rishabh Pant, the Lucknow Super Giants captain thought that Ravi Bishnoi and Prince Yadav are better bowlers in comparison to Shardul Yadav. Ravi and Prince returned combined figures of 8-0-100-2, while Shardul bowled only half of his allotted overs for 2-0-19-2. And then he asked Shahbaz Ahmed to bowl the final over, and this guy actually ended up with an economy of 14.66. Prospects for Lucknow Super Giants look bleak for this season, unless they find someone else as the captain.

It was really exciting match to watch where unfortunately Gujrat try thier best, but still with a minor lead lose the vital match again Punjab.
