I don't know what to call the England team, because in the first T20I they performed very badly, they could not meet the target by a small margin. But in the second match they performed so aggressively that every bettor was surprised. That was fantastic match because it was record breaking game. You are right that Phil Salt amazing score of 141 runs from just 60 balls was reason for new world record. Scoring 304 runs in T20 match is incredible. It is the first time major team has passed 300 runs and as you said many teams still can not score that much in 50 overs match. England huge win by 146 runs proves how dominant they were. With series tied 1-1 final game will be exciting. England has much of momentum now and it will be interesting to see if they can win series.

Bangladesh won by 7 wickets which is commendable. However, Hong Kong will score a big score of 143 in this match which was unexpected. I expected that we will see a small score from Hong Kong in this match too. Against Afghanistan, the team could not even score 100 runs. The team scored only 94 runs in 20 overs. But they gave Bangladesh a decent target of 144 runs. Liton Dan and Towhid Hridoy played big innings. Liton played an innings of 59 runs off 39 balls. Hridoy was unbeaten on 35 runs off 36 balls.

Hong Kong lost 4 wickets in the powerplay against Afghanistan, due to which they were under pressure and were eventually all out for 94 runs. But yesterday Hong Kong scored 34 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in the powerplay. So if Bangladesh bowlers could have dismissed Hong Kong's top order batsmen in the powerplay, it would not have been possible for Hong Kong to score so many runs. However, a low-scoring match is not enjoyable, so such a score should have been made, and the match was not one-sided. One side we see some explosion like never before and on the other side we are moving like old tram but the irony is both are T20 international matches, I mean there should be something to differentiate these two levels of gameplay or we might lose the audience for international matches.

When England and South Africa were scoring so many runs, I thought it was because of the sporting wicket. Although we see such good variations of bowling from the South African bowlers. However, when the runs crossed 300, it was clear that this match was never going to be won by South Africa. But I thought that South Africa could score at least 200 runs on such a wicket but in the end they could only score 158 runs after losing all their wickets in 16.1 overs. There are two people in the South African team who can bat fairly well in T20Is. But England batsman Phil Salt is a great batsman for T20Is. So far he has played 45 T20Is in which he has scored four centuries including five half-centuries.

The average score of the first innings on this pitch is 137 and the average score of the second innings is only 123 runs. It is quite difficult for batsmen to play big innings. However, if they can collect 160+ by batting first, there will be more chances of winning this match. At present, the performance of the batsmen of both Bangladesh and Sri Lanka is irregular.
